It's a nice wrench
I have no complaints. It is made to a high standard. Made in Taiwan may not be the same as made in America but it's not the same as made in China either. This is a good tool. I was impressed enough that I purchased their 3/8" drive and 1/4" drive torque wrenches too. I actually bought the 3/8" drive wrench on accident but I liked it so much, I didn't want to return it and so I kept it. It's a good tool. Dial up your torque setting, hold it in the right place and in the right way, give it a turn in the right manner and the wrench head will "snap" letting you know to stop wrenching. The nut I was working on required .001" shims to get the bolt perfectly lined up. One shim equaled one ft/lb on the wrench and this seemed repeatable as I added shims. Remember that lubrication will increase your actual bolt tension and using extension wrenches may alter the length of the wrench which will increase or decrease the actual applied torque and subsequent bolt tension.

This is a Great Wrench!!!
Decided to spend a little more to get a ratchet style torque wrench. This is an amazing tool. It's accuracy is almost 100% at all levels, even at 250 foot-pounds. It's length gives extra leverage, and the wrench is really well built and heavy duty. It even comes in a case that is similar to a musical instrument case - good looking and strong. This is a very good deal for a really super torque wrench.

This Torque Wrench worked like a charm for me!
I was very happy with this torque wrench. I have no way to judge the accuracy of the readings, so I'm hoping they are correct. I used this while replacing the front end on a 1990 Jeep Wagoneer Limited, which required torqueing the front axle nut to 175lbs (this will go up to 250lbs). The only thing it won't do is torque below 30lbs. But, I have an old beam torque wrench that I can use for the light stuff. I had purchased a cheaper torque wrench several years ago, which turned out to be wasted money, as it wouldn't work at all.

Quality item
Wrench feels high quality in your hands. My older CDI torque wrench had 100lbs-ft maximum and I needed better range in order to work on suspension. Compared to CDI this wrench from Sunex has a more solid feel and better materials. I checked accuracy on my lug nuts and it was consistent with CDI settings at 95lbs-ft. Item arrived with test results and in a nice box Few things would improve: - change hinges on the box from plastic to metal - would be nice to know why wrench testing was performed in 2017?! Is my item 2.5 years old?

Broke after minimal use...
I only really use this torque wrench for torquing lug nuts on my cars. It still looks brand new. I bought it in 2019 and used it maybe 200 times on automotive lug nuts = 200 clicks - now it no longer clicks when the set torque is reached. I sent an email to Sunex Customer Service and they let me know the warranty was 1 year, so nothing to be done under warranty. They did provide an address to send it in for repair at my expense. This torque wrench appears to be very well made with quality materials, and it has a very nice protective case - BUT BEWARE it is NOT very robust when used as designed.

VERY IMPRESSED with every aspect of this fine tool!
VERY IMPRESSED with EVERY aspect of this fine tool! I could go on and on about all of the well thought out details of this tool but if it means anything to you that even the two badges on the well designed case are brushed aluminum, not stickers... I hope this says a lot about the entire experience of this fine product!!!! I’m very OCD about my investments. It’s HIGH END QUALITY with a very realistic price. Absolutely no regrets!
