Weego 12V Mini Clamps, 20A Replaceable Fuse, Fits 5Mm Barrel Jack Output (Jsmc)

The DC Barrel Connector I think is (5.5mm O.D. x 2.1mm I.D.) which is used on some aux. output jacks. I have a DBPower Jump-start unit and it plugs into the aux power output. The power indicating LED however does NOT illuminate until I jumper the chassis ground pins at the data link connector together when it's off the car. Tomorrow, I'll attempt to use it and we'll see if the LED remains illuminated once the car's battery is disconnected... When I jumper the chassis ground pins, I do show power (12v) on pin 16. If it works on the car, I may upgrade to 5-Star. YMMV.

Here is a copy of the answer I received to a question concerning using this on another brand."Our tethers work with any jump starter brand that has an EC-5 type connector (the blue connector at the end of the clamps). One of the images on the product page shows an extreme close up of the EC5 connector. Some brands list the type of connector they are using, others do not. Our tethers work with the Weego JS12 and Weego JS6 models only."The first sentence says it works on any product with an EC-5 connection and the last sentence says it only works with 2 specific Weego models.The best I can say is they had no trouble offering a refund upon returning the product.I appreciate the ease of that process.

Does not work with Battery Tender 800 waterproof. Installed new battery on my Honda motorcycle along with this Weego tether. When the Battery Tender 800 is hooked up to maintain battery charge, the tender just flashes the yellow LED. I attached a voltmeter and it shows the Battery Tender 800 is turning itself on and off. Left it on for several hours with no change. Attached my Optimate Pro S charger and it did the same thing but shut off after 20 minutes. So, I took off the Weego Tether and installed the standard battery lead that came with the Battery Tender 800. All is good now. I assume that there is an issue between the Battery Tender 800 and the Diode that is in the Weego tether. I understand why there is a fuse in the Weego Tether but I don't know what the diode is for. So this Weego Tether does not work in my application.

I purchased Weego jump starts for each of our sons and my husband. They all really like the products but I am disappointed in the guarantee That's suppose to be 18 months. Our sons jump start charger melted while using, I contacted Amazon because I though I had purchased an extended warrant and was told to contact Weego directly. This I did do only to receive a long questionnaire about how it was used, what was charged ect. ect. I filled the questionnaire out to the best of my ability and returned it to Weego, never heard from Weego again. So I finely just bought the replacement myself. I am not impressed with there customer service.To add insult to injury, in January my husband’s Weego had no charge after being in the glove compartment of our truck for the fall after several attempts to charge it. I contacted Weego and received no reply, I sent emails and still no reply. I contacted Amazon to intervene for me, which they did and verified I had purchased the extended warranty. Six months later still no reply from Weego. I will never make a purchase from Weego again.

Connected this up to my motorbike because the battery box makes the positive terminal really difficult to get to if I wanted to jump start the bike. Tested it with a non weego jump starter and it works brilliantly. That being said, I’ll probably get a weego starter because it’s a bit smaller than the one I have.

exactly what i was looking for. very pricey for some wires and connectors, but very convenient. now i can hook up my battery to the tender and if/when the battery dies i can hook up my jump pack directly without having to remove the seat of my atv. my jet ski still requires me to take off the seat but it is still more convenient than messing around with the alligator clips while floating down the river. i bought one set that i've been swapping back and fourth between all of my toys and i plan on getting on for each of my 3 atvs and 2 jetskis. i'm just going to wait for the price to come down before i order 4 more of them. if you have temperamental powersport batteries this connector is a must! my sons atv battery was completely dead and wont even take a charge i hooked this up and put my jump pack under his seat and used it as the battery.

Great product! We inadvertently left the interior lights on, overnight, in my wife's car. The battery was four years old and, as one would expect, was drained completely. Our service station said the battery wouldn't hold a charge and needed replacement. Had we not had the Weego Unit, which started the car immediately, we would have summoned AAA to give us a jump start. Instead of waiting for help, the Weego unit provided the necessary power to start the car so we could take it to our dealer. My wife was amazed at the simplicity of use and functionality of your unit. It's impossible to make a mistake with the polarity when connecting the unit to the battery terminals! This safety feature was one of the reasons, along with your reputation for building a robust product, that we decided to purchase the Weego! We even take this unit on our older single-engine Piper Cub which has a 14 volt-alternator and 12-volt battery, as a backup!

The eyelets are for automotive terminals but its sold as a powersports product. Had to change those out for smaller ones and heat shrink again. The inline circuitry makes installing this on a newer harley davidson challenging. I did it but it was not smooth as it should be.
