Adafruit Mini Metal Speaker w/Wires - 8 ohm 0.5W [ADA1890]

This was a perfect replacement for a blown mini speaker in my wall mounted clock. Every time it tried to play Westminster, it made clicking noises instead of a melody. Replaced the old speaker with this Adafruit Mini Metal Speaker and now it works like brand new, sounds a tad quieter which is perfect, but smooth and sounds good (old speaker was .25Watt), this speaker is .5watt.

Speaker sounds great and is the same size as the one used in the Philips SCD630 baby monitor; therefore if your speaker gets damaged and sounds really distorted you can open it up, remove the speaker clip and old speaker, cut the clip wire and solder this one on in its place. Much better than e-waste.

The sound randomly went out on my Escort 9500xi. This is a perfect fit and direct replacement, with one exception. You have to solder the plug with red and black wire which literally takes less than a minute. Works perfectly sound is exactly the same and the specs are identical to the speaker that came out. 8ohm .5v

It was a little smaller than I was expecting but I made it work but 1 day later and it quit working and just hums now. Don't buy it unless you want cheap junk.

Good voice quality

I was planning on using this for the adafruit amp and soundboard, but to my dismay one of the wires connected to the speaker back had fallen off. This could be a fluke and I'm sure it worked fine before. I probably pulled on it without realizing it. I then gave the other wire a slight tug and off it came.

It's small and low-wattage, but its metal backing gives it a bit more sturdiness than plastic-backed speakers of its type. Perfect buy for a project where space is at a premium.

I replaced the speaker in my Beltronics RX65 radar detector. I dropped my 10 year old radar detector and the sound went out. A radar detector with no sound is useless...So I took a chance and bought the $4 speaker. It was exact size and worked great!

I used it volvo vnl culster speaker and it works perfect. Easily installed.

Wanted to generate a emergency "siren" type sound from an ATtiny85 running Arduino code, which also drives 8 neopixel LEDs set in a toy quad bike. It's not loud, but is perfectly adequate for the child and not too annoying for nearby adults! Have a 100ohm resistor in the speaker line to protect the ATtiny output and it's fine. Used the FASTled library for the Neopixels and "tinytone" code to drive the speaker. Not good enough for true audio, but just right and small enough for siren effects!

Usato per il Gameboy pi 0 e funziona correttamente rispetto alla norma è meglio ho solo notato una cosa, non si capisce qual è il positivo e qual è il negativo ci sono dovuto andare per intuito

Los bajos no los vas a oír (normal en los pequeños altavoces), pero el resto de freqüencias suenan fantásticamente. Recomiendo construirle una caja de resonancia al altavoz, para aprovechar al máximo sus posibilidades.
