Bible study loved it!

I was supposed to only order the "Book", not the "Study Guide" to use at our weekly Ladies Bible Study at my Church. However, I decided to not return it for a refund but to use it as a devotional. Once I'm done with it, I'll bless someone else with it.

Did a women’s study on this book through the quarantine period and it was a great subject to study. Being able to read this book and keep the perspective right. It was nice to have the study guide/questions and other helpful materials in the back as well.

We used this for our most recent bible study. The material was eye opening as we really focused on where we are and where we need to be. However, we did find that the study guide and the book didn't always flow, some of the ladies got confused with what chapter to read to go with what video session.

I was somewhat bothered by the selected Bible verses. They can answer the questions, but make more sense if written in context. It is also necessary to buy the book since the study guide asks you to read the appropriate chapters in the book. Alone, the study guide is not that helpful. I also found that the whole study is more valuable in a small group setting rather than doing it alone. That way struggles and confusions and mis-understandings can be discussed in a supporting manner.

Joanna Weaver, she was new to me. But I have become a follower of her teaching of the word. God has really given her a heart changing message. This is our second study with her.
