Wanted to love it
First, I liked this book. I loved the characters of the guys but I found the girl whiny and really spoiled ( I was actually hoping both guys would get back together and replace her . At the end, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Mason. I know she wants both but I could easily see her changing her mind not so later down the road and expect everyone to play along to her new rules. I also feel sorry for Clay but not so much as Mason who will go through their life together as a third wheel out in the open.Even though I liked this book I found more Love between Mason and Clay than I saw April have for either .

Rough stock
Growing up with two hot cowboys on your Dadβs ranch is always great, even falling in love with both! When you move to New York, one joins the army and the other the rodeo circuit, does the love die? You are in for a wonderful rough ride!

Not so rough and a little tame...
The two heroes, Mason and Clay, aren't bad, although the descriptions of them are sketchy. The heroine, April, is a doormat, and quite frankly I didn't like her very much. In my opinion, a young woman who makes it clear she wants to have sex with two men at the same time should have more of a backbone. Yes, she's young, but she also comes across as very passive. *SPOILER ALERT* She gets pregnant and has a miscarriage and uses that as a reason to cut off communication with both guys - because her heart was somehow broken by this event? And if she's (apparently) so embarrassed by having had the miscarriage, why does she tell them? It just doesn't work. I would have been happier if Mason and Clay had declared their love for each other and dumped April - it would have made more sense and been much more fun to read.

Great romance...
This is a younger romance, younger than 30. The romance starts in high school, before graduation. Then thet go separate ways after their mΓ©nage. They reunite when the rodeo accident brings them together. It is well done, good writing, and wonderful romance. The sex is hot and story interesting.

As usual, this book was hard to put down. To bad they lost so many years because of missing information that would have saved them from so much hurt.

Trio
The plot was well done and the love of his life was the two. The author captures your imagination and runs with it happily to the end.

It's OK, but not the greatest.
I was really disappointed. The story was OK, but you couldn't really figure out the timeline. The writing wasn't even good. Maybe this was her first book she ever wrote, but I was very disappointed. Don't know if I will read another one of her books again.

Nice and steamy read which draws you in from beginning to end. Would recommend.
This was the first book I'd read by the author and as I found it on here cheaply I thought I'd give it a go as I've always loved erotic fiction from Samhain Publishers. It has been a long time since I read one and this book lived up to expectations. It's hot and steamy from the off with a half decent storyline to go alongside with and characters you can fall in love with. The book is split into two parts. The first part is where most of the steamy bits are, with fewer steamy bits in part two. Part one is all about the characters getting it together as youngsters and the fun times that were had, whereas part two is several years down the line where they have grown, drifted apart and come together again after tragedy strikes.I absolutely flew through this book and found it interesting from start to finish. I'm knocking a star off and giving it 4 out of 5, simply because part two wasn't as steamy, although it was still good. I'm guessing most people will be buying for the erotica. I will definitely buy other books from this author and recommend to others if you're into erotic fiction involving menage and cowboys. Happy reading!

Not your usual menage tale.....well worth a read
What I liked about my first CJ book is that this isn't your normal menage tale - the characters aren't jaded, they genuinely enter into a meaningful relationship from the start, they've known each other since their early teens and each of them cares about the other. Basically, it was romantic and sweet. The tale starts the summer when April, Mason and Clay turn 18, with the guys working for her father's ranch, and not knowing how to treat April when they suddenly realise that their buddy has turned into a young girl. Yes, they start to experiment, and it wasn't at all non-believable or sordid, as it was done in a very innocent way. However, their young ages and plans for the future tear them apart until several years down the line, Clay is injured in a horse-fall and April and Mason rush back to his side. The way in which the separation was explained was sweet and touching, and I liked all of the characters equally, but the only reason the tale loses a * is that the ending was a tad too rushed and convenient: Clay's father has apparently from just a couple of glances at the trio sussed their relationship out, and is prepared to pave the way for them with his wife and April's parents, which didn't quite ring true. However, for the rest of the tale, I was prepared to overlook this too-good-to-be-true ending. Yes, I will read more by this author, even though I would call this tale more sensual than erotic.

menage + young love
An ok read though not sure I would read again. Unusual to get a menage story which starts out with young teens involved. It is rather sweet but also seemed rather short and April was a bit bland for me - the male characters were a bit more engaging. Apparently its an older book that has been revised and lengthened - must have been particularly short before.

Rough Stock by Cat Johnson
This was a jaw dropping, cheeky and adorably adventurous storyline set in a small town out West. A thoroughly 'hot' read...Thank you Cat Johnson.
