I found this board to be sturdy, stable, and well made. Much better than my previous, much cheaper ironing board. I really like the little stand to place the iron. Also, being a leftie, I appreciated that the iron stand can be set up for left-handed use. I also liked that the board can be easily set up to different heights. One thing I think could be better is the weight: considerably heavier than my rickety old board, but I guess increased stability comes at a price. This board is the perfect size to hang in a full size wardrobe for storage between uses. Sadly it does not come with a hanger hook, which you can find in other models. The value for your money depends on how much use you give to this product. If you have only a few pieces that need ironing, you might be better off spending half the money and putting up with a bit of inconvenience a fee times per year. I iron weekly, so for me this board has been money well spent.

I've been trying to find a decent ironing board in big box stores for months and couldn't find one in person that was well padded and wobble-free, so I decided to bite the bullet and try this one, although I was initially put off by the price tag. It's 50% more expensive than the most expensive ones I tried from a store, but 100% more useable. The other ones honestly did not feel safe to use. You could knock it over if you really wanted to but it's plenty sturdy for normal use, no worrisome wobbles or creaks. It also folds up and unfolds easily but not so easily that the pull-bar feels overly loose, although you should check below decks to ensure that the "tooth"-style latch is properly caught; occasionally it slips slightly past and rests on the upper part of the hook rather than snugly underneath it. It seems relatively stable even in that state (I ironed on it that way before I noticed it, with no ill effect), but I'm guessing it's not as safe. I also like how well welded the iron rest is, as the last board I tried had an iron rest so rickety that I was scared to use it with even a lightweight iron. The manufacturer also offers a ten year warranty. Overall, a quality item. If I had a larger laundry room, I probably would have gotten the larger version.

I like the ironing board, it seems stable and sturdy, but I ordered with the Ice Water Cover and it has the plain beige cover. Ironing board overall seems like it will last.

This ironing board is much better than cheapie we had before - more stable, can be set up higher, a bit wider, has better cover that does not come off, and overall just works well. Sadly, after two years of service one of the wimpy welds on it gave up making it unusable, but that gave me an opportunity to check on that 10 years warranty... and it turned out to be real! Great customer service, got new replacement board in less than a week. There are some reviews here with concerns about warranty service in US, but that seems to not be a problem.

I am very happy with this ironing board. As others commented, the pad is thin, but I took the pad off my old ironing board and added it to this new board and it added the desired padding I was looking for. Regarding stability, I don't understand the comments about this board being very unstable and wobbly. Unless my floor is uneven in the exact same manner as the board, I find this board to be incredibly stable - it does not wobble at all! The different height settings are a bonus and offers the flexibility to stand or sit while ironing. It is a bit heavy, but I think that adds to the stability. While this is probably not a board for someone who sews alot and needs a more professional style item, for my simple sewing and clothes ironing needs, this ironing board is perfect. Good quality for the cost.

I am happy with this ironing board. I have not bought many in my life but this is the best. Very sturdy and well designed. I would not call it light-weight but more medium weight. It is not difficult to lift/move/fold or unfold it. The length/width are perfect for ironing small or large items. The "stand" for the iron is very, very useful and folds flat when not in use. The legs attach in the bag so do not swing loose when raising or lowering the board. I'm so glad I bought this one!

I am not easily impressed and I am very impressed. I read a multitude of very poor reviews on less expensive models and noted that this model had no reviews lower than "FOUR" so I decided to pop for it and am very glad I did. It is a very well "Made in Latvia" powder coated steel assembly with a grid top that allows steam to go thru and readily evaporate; A toothed rack to easily adjust at a multitude of heights; A quality foam top and 100% cotton cover "Made in Poland" and it appears to be extremely sound and very stable. I highly recommend it and am very glad I did not determine to save a few bucks on a cheaper, poorly reviewed model.

This is the poorest job of quality control I've ever seen in an ironing board, well one of the poorest jobs of quality control I've ever seen in anything! I unfolded this and immediately it wobbled EXCESSIVELY. I looked down and one of the legs was over an inch off the ground! Brabantia might make good ironing boards, but their QC department is obviously atrocious. ANYTHING that is put together THIS poorly should NEVER have made it past quality checks! Furthermore, it has a scratch on one leg 3" long, ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE PAINT down to bare metal, and another nick lower down. You can see from the pictures all the problems with it!

Great ironing board - the ice water cover looks exactly as described. The ironing board is sturdy and I have had no problem with it being 'wobbly' or 'unstable'. It has many different height adjustments and I am 196cm (6ft 5) and I am able to iron comfortably on the max setting. I would recommend to friends and family.

Wow. Ich muss sagen, dass ich richtig erleichtert bin. Warum das so ist, erläutere ich nachfolgend. Auf Amazon gibt es Kundenbewertungen, die gekauft sind. Und natürlich gibt es auch Kundenbewertungen, die emotional gefällt werden. Beide haben wenig Vorteile für den Käufer. Derzeit sind zwei Anbieter von Bügetischen auf Amazon führend: An erster Stelle Leifheit, an zweiter Stelle Brabantia. Die anderen kann man eigentlich fast vergessen, wegen kaum verfügbaren Produktvarianten und ersichtlich mangelnder Qualität. Und für diese beiden großen Marken bestehen Rezenzionen, die wirklich sehr widersprüchlich sind, und zwar eine ganze Menge. Ich habe mir unheimlich schwer getan mit der Auswahl, und mich nach mehr als sechs Wochen theoretischem Hin und Her für diesen Bügeltisch entscheiden, nachdem mir auffiel, dass die Bügelbretter von Leifheit scheinbar wirklich einige Schwächen boten, die in einigen Rezensionen genannt wurden und die nicht einfach vom Tisch zu wischen waren. Ich schaffte mir einen Überblick über fast alle Bretter... Meine Anforderungen an den Bügeltisch waren: - stabil / standfest - robust - hochwertig, gut verarbeitet - kein Plastik / Bügelbrettauflage aus Metall - nicht zu breit, nicht zu schmal - nicht zu leicht, aber auch nicht zu schwer - nicht zu teuer, aber auch nicht zu günstig - keine überflüssigen Elemente - schönes Design - verstellbar Und ich muss sagen: dieses Bügelbrett ist ein Volltreffer - damit hatte ich nicht gerechnet. Der Grund: dieses Brett eignet sich für jeden normalen, anspruchsvollen Haushalt, und ist besser als jedes Billigbrett. Es erfüllt alle genannten Anforderungen komplett. Profibügler können bestimmt nochmal 100 € drauflegen: ich glaube etwas zynisch, dass viele schlechte Rezensionen eher genau darauf abzielen, dass 50€ Bügelbretter keine High-Tech Bretter sind, und dabei vergessen wird, dass man für dieses Geld aber diese verdammt gute Qualität von Brabantia bekommt! Einzige Anmerkung zum Brett: Der Bezug kann durchaus nicht ganz so fest am Brettrand sitzen, was aber nicht heisst, dass es ein Problem ist. Man kann mit dem mitgelieferten Gummizug den Bezug festzurren, und dann hält der Bezug bestens (manche übertreiben es hier was dieses Problem betrifft indem es emotional überbewertet wird). Bügeln funktioniert damit also sehr gut. Ansonsten gibt es keine einzige negative Bemerkungen, die man nennen müsste. Ergänzender Vergleich mit Leifheit: die Leifheit Bügelbretter hatte ich kurz nach meinem Kauf im Haushaltswarengeschäft gesehen. Das Problem ist, dass diese Bretter Schwachstellen in der Verarbeitung haben, und sie auch recht bullig / sperrig wirken. Die Brabantia Bretter zeigen sich dagegen eleganter. Auch habe ich das Gefühl gehabt, dass die Bretter von Leifheit nicht so robust sind, da wichtige Teile, die stabil sein solltenh aus Plastik verarbeitet sind. Auch Elemente wie Stromstecker schienen mir mangelhaft angebracht zu sein (Abbruchgefahr). Alles in Allem empfehle ich dieses Brett mit absolut gutem Gewissen weiter. Für mich eine Erleichterung, für so wenig Geld so gute Qualität zu bekommen. Dieses Brabantia Produkt fühlt sich für mich richtig gut an.

This was bought to replace a 12 year old workhorse that was falling to bits lately. I thought I'd go for a Brabantia as they do have a great name and all their products seem to be quality items. The ironing board - Has steel tubing legs 22mm thick with non slip caps for stability. The actual board itself is just a tad under 56 inches long which is 1.42 meters. 37 inches high and just under 19 inches wide. Not a bad size. The ironing part is 100% cotton with a foam underlay and feels good in use. The widest part of this ironing board is between the feet which is just under 19 inches or 1ft 6in. Useful to know for storage! The place where we used to store our old one is not wide enough to take this one. You can set this to seven different heights which range from 2ft 3in to 3ft 1in. So Toulouse Lautrec or Robert Wadlow will be okay using this board! The frame is lacquered preventing corrosion over time and it does have a transport lock to keep it folded. It also has a handy child lock mechanism which many don't. The iron rest is good and can be converted to either left or right handed use. They thought about the lefties for once! :) In use this is a cracking ironing board and doesn't kill your back. It's ergonomic too! Great product from Brabantia Recommended

Dieser Bügeltisch hat den gesamten Härtetest bei mir bestanden: Bettwäsche und Hemden lassen sich perfekt bügeln. Das vordere Ende des Tisches verjüngt sich, Hemden habe ich noch nie so einfach bügeln können. Es gibt keine Steckdose am Bügelbrett. Aber das ist überhaupt kein Problem. Ich habe neben mir auf dem Boden eine Steckdosenleiste liegen - und das reicht völlig aus. Die Ablagefläche für das Bügeleisen ist für Links- oder Rechtshänder zu nutzen. Die Höheneinstellung erleichtert das Arbeiten zusätzlich. Mein Bügeleisen ist nicht neu, aber die Auflagefläche des Bügelbretts ist genial. Hier kann man ohne zusätzlichen Druck glatt bügeln. Das Bügeleisen gleitet fast von allein. Meine gesamte Wäsche ist nach dem Bügeln wie neu. Meine Bettwäsche war noch nie so glatt und weich wie jetzt. Der Tisch ist sehr stabil. Dampfbügeln ist möglich, aber überhaupt nicht nötig. Ich vergebe 10 Punkte - noch nie hat Bügeln so viel Spaß gemacht!

Buen tamaño, resistente, fácil de montar y desmontar, muy recomendable.
