This karate uniform is a solid choice, especially for beginners or casual practice. The material is lightweight and very comfortable which is perfect for kids and adults just starting out in martial arts. It also comes with a belt, which is a nice bonus. The fit was pretty accurate based on the size chart, it did shrink a bit after washing. The fabric isn’t the thickest, so it might not hold up under intense, frequent training, but it’s more than enough for classes a few times a week. Overall, great value for the price. quality is good

When the uniform arrived, it was neatly pressed and very clean. No blemishes like some other users experienced. I was worried about sizing for this. I ended up going with a size 3. For reference, I'm a female: 110lbs, 5'1. It fit really well. The waist of the pants is all elastic and was slightly tight but not enough that it bothered me. I imagine that it will loosen up over time just from wear. The length was perfect as well, as I wasn't tripping over any excess material. The material overall felt lightweight and very comfortable. It was stiff since it is brand new, but it seems to be pretty good quality for the price. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend for anyone looking for a basic Gi without the heavy price tag.

UPDATE: Approximately 3 months later, 50 sessions in the Karate Dojo and 10 washings the 70lbs 0 Gi is starting to fall apart at the seems. The other 2 Gi's are holding up OK. I know you get what you pay for, so I have gone ahead & sewed up the seems that were coming apart to buy some time. The good news is these Gi's have a chance of survival in a Karate setting. However if it is Judo or Jiu-Jitsu they might last 2 or 3 classes. 3 stars Great product with a great price. The sizing chart by weight provided before buying is accurate. I ordered 3 Gi's (35lbs 000, 70lbs 0 & 110lbs 2) all are a perfect fit with great quality material. These Gi's are good for Karate. I do NOT recommend them for Judo or Jiu Jitsu. Just received this Gi. Quite pleased so far. The material feels solid, should wear well over time. The side ties are attached with a single row of stitches, so I'll be adding a couple more. Not a big deal, that seems to be the industry standard. Good fit. I'm 5'9" and 190 lbs. A little tight through the shoulders, like every other Gi I've had. I figure that's a feature of how Gi's are cut. The pant legs touch the floor, might have the hem taken up if it turns out to be an issue. I'll update this if the fit changes after laundering.
