They were packed very differently from the original socks, but still seem to be exactly the same socks. But some of the new socks twist around my foot while I am wearing them, which is annoying. And a number of the older socks, after just 2 or 3 washings, are developing holes in the diagonal seams on the sides of the heels. For what I paid, these should have lasted longer.So, the socks are still super comfortable, but I took off a star because they are getting holes so quickly.I've attached some photos. The wording on every sock says Ohne Gummi which is German for Without Rubber. I am guessing that in English we would say that the socks are latex-free.So:Pros: * Super comfortable! * Looks great! * Did I mention comfortable?Neutral: * Seems to be latex-free.Cons: * Not durable. * If these socks were durable, the price would be okay with me. But I'm sorry to have paid this much for socks that aren't lasting.----------Updated November 28, 2018: I bought one package of socks 4 months ago and the other 5 months ago. By now most of the pairs of socks have at least one hole where the diagonal stitching on the side of the heel has come undone. The few remaining socks are still very comfortable, but overall I am very disappointed. I'm downgrading this to three stars because the socks got holes so quickly. I wish I could find socks that are this comfortable *and* that would last!

I wear a women's size 8-1/2 to 9 shoe. Women's socks have a default size of 9-11, and always shrink to child-size within the first couple of washings. I hoped mens socks would be larger and might still fit after washing. These socks fit fine right out of the package, and didn't shrink so much that I couldn't wear them after washing. My only complaint is that they are packaged with a variety colors decided by the manufacturer, not in individual colors that you can order/replace as wanted.

I have some allergy issues and feet is sweaty. As i preferred to stay in the southern parts of USA - I was looking for the socks which are almost 100% cotton(well there should be some amount of elastic/latex). This is exactly what i am looking for. 6 different color socks. Neither too thick nor too thin - just what i was expecting. Wearing almost 98% cotton socks means that after long working hours - your feet is not tired and you don't have too immediately take them out once you reach home. I had the nasty habbit of taking the socks out almost every 2-3 hours at work due to sweat and itchyness and this seems to be the right solution. Very soft and feels good. Even if they last for 9-12 months - I am fine.

I liked the fact that these are 98% cotton. However after just about three washes, two of these had developed holes in them. I have been using socks and the same detergent/ washing machine / shoes for several years and this never happened to my socks.

I wanted 100% cotton socks to help me treat a bad case of moccasin athlete's feet. These socks fit the bill very well. I wanted socks that didn't go so far up my calf. These socks don't. The socks are rather thin. I will not use them in the cold of winter. They are slightly more sloppy than my heavier socks. They fit fine at the beginning of the day, but stretch out and relax a bit in wearing. But I haven't noticed the shrinkage that I was expecting with cotton socks. I have worn them for a couple of months and laundered them regularly. All of the socks are well constructed. Judging from the box shown in the seller's display, I was expecting a larger package. But I very much like these breathable socks with just ennough lycra in the band to keep them up.

These are really really thin summer socks. If you're wanting something with cushion don't buy them.

Decent item. Doesn't appear to shrink after multiple washes. I bought these hoping they were as thin as they looked. I'm a baker by trade, kitchen gets too hot at times.

I purchased these for a family member who wears a size twelve shoe so they are a bit snug on him but not unwearable. The material is super soft and stretchy and the tops are not too tight so they do it dig into the leg. They wash and dry nicely on my regular settings with my regular detergent without shrinking or pilling.Overall, these are soft, stretchy, and comfortable and I certainly recommend them.
