Does what it says
Bought the wrong one on accident so I bought an adapter since it was cheaper. Turns out my hard drive is broken. Will say that I'm not happy this product had to be the one to tell me that but I'm happy to say the product worked.

Definitely works
This cable it works. I tried my internal SSD to my iMac and it worked. Haven't used it for long but it does the job

works as expected and no problems so far. i hope it lasts long. so far i can boot my max which has an internal non ssd disk in it successfully to speed up the max which is what’s needed. the cord though is too short. i wish it was longer

Works as you would expect
This is a well made and good priced item. I have used it to clone SSD's and copy data on to SSD's and it has work flawlessly. At the price this is an excellent buy.

Good for ssds
Works great with sata Ssd's but not with mechanical hardrives. Very convenient for using spare ssds as external backup storage. Get decent speeds too over usb-c

Good, tough product
Adapter is still under review as its way to early to review quality etc. However the unit does "feel" tough and although made of plastic it does not bend like some of the cheap models.

Perfect performance
This is something which i missed for a year now... with the new Ipad Pro 2021 the copy from an external SSD now is amazing!
