It took me forever to pick out a craft knife bc I was seeing a lot of negative comments on how flimsy the blades were and how they blades wouldn't stay in the wand and were loose. I needed one so I finally just ordered this one and I am not disappointed. I bought it bc I'm going to try the whole contact paper counter top thing and back splash and wanted one of these so I could cut even straight lines. I have not been able to get to that project yet but have used it on similar things and it works great. Blades seem to be nice and sturdy, they don't seem too thin or flimsy at all and the most important part is the blades stay put, they don't come loose or slide out. I don't see any plastic parts, I do believe the screw in thing is metal as Well as the whole wand.. Great buy, came on time unlike my other prime items! Packaged nicely.. All in all I'm very satisfied and would buy again!

I use my exacto knife for everything from cutting my cuticles which one should not do, two cutting excess tape off of my file folders. I do wish the blades were a little sharper and that the blades didn't shift when using pressure. Not sure if I'm putting too much pressure but the blade tends to move out of position, or if I am not tightening the screw tight enough.

My daughter has been using this for her crafting since Christmas and it works nice. I wish the blade cover did not have a big opening on the blade side though, she has cut herself sliding the cover off twice.

I am loving my new craft knife. It cuts great without loosing it’s position. It grips well without sliding and it has adjustable chuck I use it on fondant figures and decorations for cakes. I am also loving the different blades that came with it. I ordered on Monday and it was shipped to my house on Thursday ;)

Very sharp and I'm glad it has multiple blades. Way cheaper than x-acto but you won't definitely regret getting this for cutting jobs. I used this to cut contact paper and it worked amazingly. Was able to also peel wiring rubber with this without damaging the wire. Overall, I'm satisfied.

I bought this for my fondant work. I couldn’t be happier. I use it all the time. It performs exactly as I need it to. I like that it has multiple blades. It stores easily back in the box for safe keeping. I recommend this product.
