Perfect Rough in replacement cap
Construction over the winter froze the waterlines and both pressure caps blew out of the Delta rough ins. Since I am not ready to finish the showers yet with trim kits, but still want water on in the house these replacement caps fit perfectly. Pricey for what they are but do the job. Easy swap out. Turned the water on. No leaks.

It worked
Did the job but overpriced. This part should come with faucet.

As described
Since Delta doesn’t supply them anymore and I hate leaving the valve in for the tile guys to destroy I picked up a few. Problem solved.

Fit exactly!
Sucks when you break these for rough in. Expensive for what it is but works perfectly.

Works exactly like the one Delta should have included in the box!
So my $250 shower/tub Delta faucet from Lowes didn't include this plug. Not listed on the box as included. Kind of need to pressure test for leaks. You can use the expensive shower valve for this but not recommended. Local box stores don't carry it. But we can order it for you.....

Great for troubleshooting valve issues
I am only giving this 3 stars because there is no listing for what valve bodies this will fit. I ordered it for a 1300/1400 Delta shower/tub valve and it worked great for the purpose for which I bought it (it fit). The issue I had was no flow from the valve to the spout or to the shower head (zero, not a drop). I had just replaced the cartridge but still had zero flow. I was certain I had water to the valve but wanted to verify this and also verify the replacement cartridge wasn't bad. My process was (1) remove the cartridge, (2) install this test cap and (3) turn the water on. If still didn't have flow to the shower head or spout with this test cap in place and the water on, then I would know (1) it probably wasn't the cartridge and (2) there was likely a clog in either in the valve body or in the piping to the spout or shower head. After installing the test cap, I still didn't have flow (so it probably wasn't the cartridge). I drilled out the tubing in the outlet port within the valve body and this bypassed the clog in the valve. After re-installing the cartridge, everything worked fine, water out the spout and water out the shower head.
