My husband has been looking at getting a cast iron dutch oven for a long time ... ya know, a MANLY one and not one of those pretty enamel coated ones. Well, he was shocked, surprised and happy when this was delivered and I told him that it was primarily his. If I do borrow it to cook a great roast, I told him I'd let him know because he'll be the one picking it up and placing in the oven and taking it out of the oven because it's heavy duty! He especially likes it because the lid doubles as a skillet pan. The only negative is the silicone handle covers - they're too loose fitting and its recommended you still use pot holders; I'd be afraid they would slip and create more of a hazard situation. But I'm still rating this purchase as a 5-star product.

I own cast iron in every size (but this one). I’m a long time sourdough home baker, and have been a bit frustrated with loaves that spread rather than rise. It occurred to me that the size you bake in could force the bread upward. So I took a chance and purchased it. It’s the perfect size, and shape! I did however have to season it a few times. It took the seasoning very well, and is now sea worthy. I will also add that it came in excellent shape, and very well packaged.

This product was worth the purchase. It is well made and seasoned. I have not had any issues with sticking to the pan. I love the dual purpose of the lid. I would recommend the purchase. Very pleased.

This is an excellent cast iron set at a really reasonable price. After using these to cook a few things with, I can say I notice no difference from more expensive cast iron skillets and the taste came out the same. These aren't the easiest to clean, but it's nice they can't with cleaners to make the process a little easier. I also appreciated the two difference pan sizes included since normally you just get the 1. Highly recommend this set if you're looking!

doesnt come with the scraper, and the texture is too rough for oil to make it semi nonstick (its full stick) but has held up great otherwise. its acceptable. 7/10

Pre-season high quality cast iron, and at a price about 1/2 or more below others!! I simply scrolled way down and found this gem waiting for me to discover:). I heated at 400 for 30 minutes and let cool down before actually using to burn off any manufacturing residues prior to using. The 3” top frying pan allows me to also have a great frying pan…and allows me to have a deep Dutch oven 2-3” lower than conventional!
