Hi, are these suitable for small goldfish (3 inches)

No idea, but if you crush them down a bit they might be okay for small fish. I feed my Koi, orbs and goldfish with them. My goldfish are nearer 6inches.

Hi All, has anyone had any issue with fish dying after feeding with this food, as I have had 2 fish die, over the last 3 days, Thank you.

I have had a new tub in the last week with no problems , so i think it would be something else.Were there any marks on the fish had they been feeding okay , check your water . It could be the conditions how old are the fish .

What is the shelf life of this food? Seems good value, but I don't want to waste money if it will go off before it all used.

I have a large fish pond and I use one of these tubs once a month so I don’t know the shelf life. It's quite a dry product so I think it would have a long life before going off.

Are these all season pellets

You will kill your fish through misplaced kindness if you feed them protein pellets during the winter, as they can’t digest it and it rots in their stomachs (I lost a large koi this way I think). Protein pellets are summer warm temperature food. When water temperature is below 10 degrees and above 5 degrees feed them wheat germ pellets (which are more easily digestible) and below 5 degrees don’t feed them at all! This is what is stated on the containers! So some advice below that you can use all through the winter is wrong during cold weather, when the fish effectively hibernate, as their metabolism slows right down.
