4 AA Rechargeable NiCD Battery, 1.2V 1000mAh High Capacity AA Batteries

Installed two of these in my Braun 5790 electric shaver and they're working perfectly!

Took a while to review these since i wanted to make a fair review... for one, the self discharge rate is basically nil, which is why i chose nicd.. and loopacell was (is) the best bargain... I put these through 4 basic tests... 1 high drain battery hungry device; and given the load and runtime of said device the advertised 1000mAh is all there.. 2 1hr quick charge .. pass .. they barely get warm.. 3 battery devouring wireless mouse... pass.. cut off was at the time the mouse tried to light its low battery light.. runtime was 2 days less than an alkaline (so these saved me a regular battery during my tests) .. expected for 1.2 volt cells where 1.5 normally is... 4 self discharge just sitting there... none that i can tell tbh.. which beats the crap out of the nimh chemistry which is usually dead from self discharge when finally called upon... the only downside? you'll need a charger that specifically supports nicd.. dont use a nimh-only charger...

The price is great, especially for 1000 mAh batteries, and I've found the performance seems to be excellent compared to the typical 400 mAh batteries that come with inexpensive outdoor solar lighting, which is what I'm using them for. The performance has been excellent during the two weeks so far that I've tested one battery with one light, which now stays on the entire night, until sunup, and is also brighter than before throughout that entire time. The original 400 mAh battery only managed about 4-6 hours of light each night. All four batteries in my order were charged to about 90% capacity when I received them. Topping them off with a battery charger was quick and easy, though not really necessary before installing them in lights. The downside is that, while the batteries didn't exactly appear to be in "used" condition, they also didn't look brand spanking new. All four batteries were clean, but each had minor nicks, and one was actually dented. I considered returning them, especially since Amazon makes the process pretty painless, but at the bargain price that they were, I decided it wasn't really worth the time and effort. I'd like to think the seller really means to be selling new batteries in perfect condition, and isn't counting on people not bothering to return secondhand batteries, but since other reviewers have had a similar experience with the condition of the batteries, it does make me wonder. Anyway, buyer beware. Personally, at that price, I ordered with eyes wide open, and am very satisfied so far... especially assuming they last through the roughly ymmv 1000 recharging cycles that can be expected with quality NiCad batteries depending, of course, on the application. We'll see!

Needed replacement batteries for my solar garden lights. This have a little more Ah then the ones that came in the light gives me a little more light time.

I bought a 4-pack 9 months ago. 1 battery died after a month or so. I contacted seller and after several back-and-forth emails, they agreed to mail a replacement. But since then, the batteries are simply not holding much of charge. I use them on a wireless keyboard; so not much current draw. I charge two while two are in the keyboard. 3-4 of the batteries are leaking and have much degraded storage capacity. I’ll stick with name-brand next time.
