La Crosse Technology617-1614 USB Charging Station with Alarms & Nap Timer, Silver

I wanted a smaller clock that takes up less space on my computer desk. I like that the temp/humidity indicators are 2 inches off the table so that I can read them over the top of books and other objects on the table. My old La Crosse clock was in a landscape layout and they were often covered up. The screen is colorful and the time digits are 1 1/4" high. I like having the day and date information as well as a low-battery indicator. The alarm works well and the USB ports charge my ipods. 2 AAA batteries provide backup. I have always been pleased with La Crosse clocks.

I am very pleased with this clock. It has an excellent display (in color, with two light settings plus off) with, for my needs, just the right elements shown (time, day and date, temperature and humidity percentage, plus USB port identification). The clock comes with a charging cable for the USB ports, with both USB and Micro-USB tips.

Doesn't have outdoor temp display. Somehow I missed that when I ordered, but it's clear and bright and works fine.

The USB charging ports were the biggest draw for me. The clock comes with a cord to charge phones. The cable fits perfectly in an iPhone but it will not charge. There is an FAQ in the instructions that says, "Why isn't my iPhone charging?" so obviously they get this problem a lot. So do not buy if you have an iPhone and want to charge it through the clock.

We purchased the first one for our guest room. Having the USB ports is a nice features, esp when guests forget their charger. We ordered 2 more when we needed more clocks. I don't recall if the 1st one did, but the new ones came with charging cables. Love that the lights dim and that it has a small footprint.

The instructions claim the alarm option for Daily and Single are the same option but how can that be? I've set it to this before and had it only go off one day then not the next. The other two settings are Weekend and Weekday. Why wouldn't you have an "Everyday" setting for an alarm clock?This is a significant flaw for an "alarm" clock that doesn't alarm unless you only want it for 1 day or weekend or weekday. The dim settings are bad, there's high low off, low is more like a medium. I think when most people think dim they think something very low so you can still make out the numbers but it won't keep you awake.Otherwise, this would be my choice alarm clock since it has a built-in hydrometer. I like the color scheme as well.

Keep by my bedside. Use to charge my phone at night. Like it a lot. Bought to replace previous one that broke after one too many drops.

At 1st the USB charging function did NOT work! Apparently it takes a FULL battery charge to work!Otherwise this product works fine!

I bought this alarm only for the humidity sensor. It is unaccurate and the temperature has been stuck at 23C since I got it.It has good looks and I like that it says day and date, but it isn't doing what I got it for.
