These are great lights! I've installed the first one in our backyard to compliment our Ring security system and was so impressed with its operation, I bought another and installed it to further cover additional areas around the house. It's battery operated (takes 4 D cells) and I have it set for 15 sec illumination upon detection of an intruder (in our case mostly deer). I didn't want to fumble with wiring so opted for the battery operated unit. The lights are bright and I have the diffuser on for a more even spread of lighting. Best part, it's an easy installation: drill two holes in the wall, screw base plate in, attach unit to base plate, and that's it! I'll probably buy one more unit to overlap coverage. Highly recommend it!

I bought this to replace an old multi-LED battery operated motion sensor light that finally quit. This one is significantly brighter (cool white vs. warmer white color temperature of old one) and has two lamps that pivot and swivel to allow for adjustable areas of coverage. Installation was simple; just two screws to mount. Wall anchors are included and another mounting option is provided and detailed on the instruction sheet. There is a Control Setting knob that gives duration options for the time the lamps light up. It takes four D-size batteries and is a great solution for a location where electrical outlets aren't an option.

I got the 700 lumen model and for what I wanted it for it works well. I attached it to the top portion of the back of my garage to shine in the back yard for my two dogs. First off the lighting is good for the area but the distance the sensor picks up motion is not 30 feet. I just purchased a second one the after I noticed when my dogs are in the back portion of the yard the motion sensor can’t get them and keep the lights on. Now I have two and either way there will be light for me to see the dogs. I do like the small size. Remember before you buy this item that they are technically security lights. They turn off after 12 seconds or after the extended time witch I believe is a minute while there is no motion in the sensor area. For me this works great for the dogs since after they are done going to the bathroom the lights are almost off by the time we get back to the house. Either way I would recommend this product. If you are looking for some very bright light then get the 1,000 lumen version. The 700 lumen is perfect for what I’m using them for. I will update the pictures and see how they hold up after a few storms

I live on the Pacific Northwest, literally oceanfront, with a lot of rain and wind. I have this outside to light up my outdoor stairway. It was very easy to install and works great. It lights up well as it should within a good radius, the lights are bright and easy to adjust. I am very impressed with the high quality of this product, especially outdoors. And, after 4 months I still haven't had to change the batteries. One more plus, it was shipped with minimal packaging which I appreciate for the sake of our environment.

I ordered this motion detector to light an area of my basement that has my secondary refrigerator. The staircase leading to my basement is in the center of the house. With the exception of the light at the foot of the stairs, the light switches are on the far walls. It was frustrating to have to cross the basement to turn on a light switch. The motion detector is mounted on the staircase wall that faces the refrigerator. It is wonderful when I enter the part of the basement which contains the refrigerator that the light on the motion detector comes on instantly. Wow, better than I hoped when I placed my order! The lights on the motion detector are about the equivalent of a 60-watt light bulb, enough light that I don't have to turn on any other lights in the basement to see into the freezer. Appreciate that when I leave the basement with my hands carrying whatever I have taken from the freezer or refrigerator that the motion detector turns off the light shortly thereafter. Hands free - really like that feature. Highly recommend this product, it sure solved my lighting problem brilliantly.

Been a little busy this time of year. But, I need to write a review on this product. I bought 2 of them on 11/26/2019. Received them on 11/27. Thank you again Amazon. I installed them both right away. Easy installation. Had them both up in an hour. Cause I'm handy. I love these lights. The sensor will pick up around 26 feet away. Stays on for 15 seconds. Then goes off. I can set it for longer but since the battery power and I want them to go out this soon as possible they will stay on if I stand there or just move my arm to make them go on. I put one above a garage Elsa put wine on the porch because I had to a calendar the other day walking around the front of the house. I have security cameras but these did fit the bill for me I am going to order two more for the sides of the house. I just wanted to say that this company did really good with putting 4D batteries on them. Make sure you get the lithium d batteries from Amazon because they were last a lot longer providing how much they come on and off. I just want to give this product 6 stars so far I've only had them up for 8 hours. So far so good to me I will definitely promote these to my customers as well. I like these low profile LED security lights a lot. I definitely would recommend these

I added this light to my mother’s stairweLL that has A 90 degree turn and poor light. I was able to have one LED shine on each section of the stairs which was wonderful. It worked great for a bit but the motion detection becomes hit and miss. Not sure if it’s used too much and it’s a battery issue but I’d say the light doesn’t catch motion about 20 percent of the time...not great if you are worried about an elderly lady on the stairs. But I know I’m using in an unconventional way. If the motion detection was a bit more reliable it would easily be a 4-5 star purchase.
