Valterra V23015 'Pure Power Blue' Waste Digester and Odor Eliminator

We were using a different name brand before this one, and I was constantly having to deal with clogs. Since we made the switch to this one, I no longer have any clogs and everything comes out like it's supposed to. This may be a little deer than the other one but it's worth every penny.

I bought a new 5th wheel RV and received a few sample pods of this product. Instantly I was amazed on how well the pure power pods work to dissolve all of that nasty stuff in the black tank. I had flushed the black tank twice before using this product, and the monitor panel was already showing a problem. One pod of pure powered cleaned up the tank, and the monitor panel indicated a clear and empty black tank. I bought a pack of 12 pods from Amazon.

Make sure to use gloves or have dry hands. Begins to dissolve immediately on contact with water.Has a pleasant smell, but not overpowering when used in black tank. Came highly recommendedand we were not disappointed. Very convientent to use, and store in zip lock like packaging.

We love these! We had tried several different kinds that has come with the used trailer we bought but continued have really bad over problems. My online research pointed me to these. I'm really glad we tried them. Have been using them for about a year now. We forgot to drop one in the black tank after emptying our new 5th wheel the last time. It was about a month before we took it out again and boy did it reek the first time we flushed! Dropped one in while we we traveling and it cleared things up by the time we settled in the first night. We'll worth the price.

We have tried the best of the best and always had a stinky black water tank. Don’t know weather it’s because we are in AZ but odor is a big problem. Purchased this in Ohio and although we still get some odor it works for longer than the rest.

this is a wonderful product, it has a nice scent, works well, is non toxic. I have the liquid but my sweetie likes the ease of the packets. My challenge with the packets is - if there is any moisture on your hands they start to dissolve IMMEDIATELY or you don't drop them down an open (flushing toilet) they start to dissolve IMMEDIATELY and stick in/to the toilet. The pouches aren't so easy for the gray water because you have to dissolve them first in water in the sink and they can still stick to the drain. Been using this produce for about a year and really love it.

Each blue pouch claims to quickly break down waste, toilet paper, grease and soap scum. It is 100% biodegradable.We have not tried it in the RV yet other than putting a pouch in the black water tank and I will update this review as soon as I can as to the effectiveness of this product. For now it will receive 3 stars for convenience and packaging.Update June 18, 2017 Seems to work very well. No odours at all (from black water tank). However, the part about waste eating bacteria, not so sure.Update, July 7, 2019 Continues to work well controlling odours but doesn't seem to break down solids like paper, but to be honest, we put the pocket in at the start of camping and it gets flushed out of the holding tank several days later so not sure it even has time to work.

Used these every day for 2 weeks, in 90+ degree weather in the USA this summer. Perfect. No clogs in toilet, black water tank. No odors. Would buy again!

I really didn’t like the smell. Too much like a chemical smell.

Work amazing! Just make sure enough water is in the tank with it
