Here's the thing -- if you store pens in your front shirt pocket for convenience, and you use clicky-pens, you're eventually going to accidentally push the clicky-top down while it's still in your pocket. That's going to lead to little dots of ink at the bottom of your pocket, which looks bad and ruins your shirt.So the pocket protector -- I mean, it's really inexpensive, so don't get your hopes up for something sleek and elegant and beautiful. It's a plastic sheath to put your pens in. It fits in your pocket. It won't look classy or elegant -- it will look nerdy and practical. But it is a very inexpensive solution to the problem of getting ink on your shirt pocket.

I admittedly overlooked the listing title, concentrating on item description.I would never in my right mind purchase one plastic pocket protector for almost $8.I had been searching for packages containing multiple items, not a quantity of one.

They do the job. They're good pocket protectors. I was worried about them being really cheap plastic but they're great.

I got this for my husband, who no longer smokes, but vapes. I tired of hearing him curse as his e-cigs fell out of his pocket when he bent over! Since the Baumgartens Pocket Protector was clear, I figured it wouldn't look obvious, or nerdy. While his e-cigs do still occasionally fall out, THEY NEVER LEAK INTO HIS SHIRT POCKET--it's a winner! He was VERY grateful I'd gotten it for him!

Just as advertised and super fast. Arrived ahead of schedule! Haven't had them long enough to comment on durability, but they look and feel like they'll work just fine. Thank you.

I carry a seven level screwdriver, penlight, point file, pen and pencil in my pocket. I change shirts multiple times a day and I like a pocket protector to keep all this in one place. Take it out of one pocket and put it in another. Dress shirt, no problem, lab/shop coat, no problem, work shirt, ditto.This one doesn't last very long. It actually rips out the sides at the top where the flap joins the pouch. I've been able to milk these along by cutting the sides off of one and sliding it into a second so I have double thickness where it slides over the shirt pocket. They seem to last a month or so longer.Would like to find one about an inch longer and 1/2 inch wider like to old fashioned ones that seemed to last forever.I've been using the "Clear Vinyl Pocket Protector w/ Horizontal ID Badge Holder by Specialist ID, Sold Individually" and have really gotten good usage out of them. It does hold up a lot longer. It's also wider and can hold more.SpliceJune 2015-- Haven't had to use these for quite some time. Bought this a while ago but definitely worth this review. For someone who's a stationery buff like me, it's worth having an item like this one..

Item as described by seller. However it is not suitable for my purposes. I wanted to put in waist level pockets and it juts up out of pocket in my uniform. As I need to Carr pens my pockets often get stained with leaking ink that does not wash out properly. If not in health care this would probably work well.
