Top brand, works great in cooking

A good product from a trusted brand
Sodium-free beef broth is very hard to find, as anyone on a low-sodium diet can tell you. And finding one that tastes even halfway decent is even harder. But Herb-Ox has one, and even though I can't get it at any of my local stores, Amazon is offering it, making it very accessible. I found the taste comparable to any of the major beef broth brands, and I didn't even notice the lack of salt. The price is higher than I pay for regular, sodium-laden beef broth, but that's to be expected; the price difference is relatively minor, especially when health concerns are involved. This is a good product from a company whose bouillon was on my grandmother's kitchen shelves long before I was born.

Good flavor
I was surprised the bouillon packet had so much flavor with the added sodium. A good way to add more flavor to your beef dishes. Sometimes I add a second packet depending on the size of the recipe. Even my picky eater liked it. After trying it I bought the no sodium chicken bouillon. I will continue to buy it.

This is a very good product, especially if you need to watch your salt intake.I highly recommend it for soups and roasts

Doesn't mix well
This is a powdered bouillon with no sodium. Unfortunately, it really doesn't mix well with water.

I’ve ordered this many times since I am unable to locate it in stores. Taste great but a little upset because the box was open at the bottom.

Perfect: always in my Spice Cabinet
As a “vintage” home-cook I love these. I tried the jar broths & they can go bad. Cubes don’t go bad. Great product & great value. Beef, Chicken & Vegetable Cubes stay in my Spice Cabinet. Please do take note on the sodium however. Simply just don’t use any grain salt, problem solved.
