I read ingredients very carefully to be sure I was getting something that can safely be used in the eye. I have bully breeds. They don't tend to have tear stains but get "goobers" in their eyes all the time. The Frenchies eyes are more exposed and easier scratched than the English so the liquid in the pad has to be able to gently rinse the eye as well. The pads are nice and moist, you can squeeze a bit in the eye and then gently wipe away the junk it rinses out. CHECK YOUR PADS INGREDIENTS. Most tear wipes aren't safe to get the liquid in the eye just to wipe around the outside. (My grandma used to feed her Maltipoo spearmint tic tacs...xylitol...no, no) Keeps your fur babies eyes safe!

I use this product on a daily basis with my light colored pup. The product does not remove the stains but it removes the new drainage that is starting from the eye corners. If you do not use something to clean the eye corners, the eye tears become worse and the stain the surrounding hair. The pads are very thin so you need to separate them so you just use one. Lots of times, I end of grabbing about 2 or 3 at a time, they are easily separated. I have used these pads for several years, there are 90 pads, so that is 3 months of pads! Cleaning your pets eyes is a dedicated daily grooming task that needs to be done every day to keep the stains under control. I will also use a small comb to pull up the stained hair from the corrner of the eye and cut the stained hair off.

Honestly I’m not sure about the end results if one would use this everyday faithfully because I don’t .. that said when I do use these pads are very wet so it helps remove anything off her eyes or stuck on her hair and After I put the wipe on there and rub it back-and-forth then look at the wipe I can see the discoloration from tears stains it’s removing but these darn things are so thin it’s hard to get just one out, I feel they’re so thin that you can’t just quickly grab one lil wipe it’s impossible, you have to be very carefully take your time with it and divide the ultra thin round pads, I get frustrated so I normal just grab them out and end up with more than one to wipe with. I understand you don’t need a bath towel to do this lol, but a little thickness would help out a whole lot. She doesn’t seem to get any discomfort from them except The fact she doesn’t like to be held down, but I definitely don’t see it cause her any irritation or anything is that.

These are the Free Clear Tear Stain Pads, not Eye Wash Pads or Miracle Care Eye Clear Cleaning Pads. They are the pads in a jar that you use to wipe the stains from underneath the eyes of a white dog and they work if you use them as directed, which is to wipe the areas once a day for a few days. The stains will disappear. I can't in good conscience give them 5 stars, which they deserve, because they came with a label that is misprinted, giving directions for a bottle of another product which could cause some people to misuse the product. I contacted Amazon and they immediately started to get to the bottom of the misprinted labels to get them corrected. They couldn't have been nicer and that's a big reason I keep shopping here. Anyway, if you have a white dog with tear stains, Tear Stain Pads work. I'm not familiar with any of the other Miracle Care products mentioned in my first sentence or in the product listing and can't comment on their use.

I have been using these pads with my goldendoodle for over a year, and I am very satisfied with the results. Prevents stains permanently. Good product and reasonable price.

Safe to use on guinea pigs, helps clean their eyes if they are having a problem or it's running onto their fur. I carry this all the time in my guinea pig care bag. Please consult a vet or a knowledgeable guinea pig owner before giving/using anything. I also use this for wildlife.

It isn't working. I am so disappointed. It does clean the area but within a less than 6 hours they are back and actually worse. So I am not going to use it any more. I am going to go try a dog treat to see if that helps and if it doesn't work, then a Probiotic in his water to see if that works. It did clean the area but my dog's eyes became pretty crusted after use. :( He just might be allergic to it. So I can't say it isn't good for other dogs.

Good job keeping pup's eyes clean. She appreciates it... even leans her face into the pads.

These are pretty good, work well if used constantly everyday.
