Good buy!
This baton is beautifully made, great quality. It is light, balanced, and sturdy. Highly recommended. I actually purchased this baton for my child, and she is pleased with it.

No case but made good use
Beware that this baton can break easily as it does not come in a case. However the size was just what I needed and it lasted the whole semester

Nicely balanced and above all, SHORT!!!
When you are five feet tall, a 15 inch conducting baton is unwieldy. This was the shortest one I could find, and I love it! The cork handle keeps it from slipping in your hand, and although it is shorter than most, is very visible to the choir or band.

Really cheap, needs a case
I wish this came with something to carry it with because for $13, it’s really really cheap quality. It works for what I need it for but for that price, a carrying case should be included.

it fits nicely in my hand
it fits nicely in my hand..not too long not too short...its great for small groups of people (it works great in my LDS branch..we have a 96 year old widow who was called to lead the singing for our small branch and it really enhances her ability to lead the music from her wheel chair..i have also used the same one bought earlier for our stake conference...small enough to be non arrogant but long enough to be seen easily in the stake center..also the organist really appreciates it.

Nice shorter baton
Following the encountered advice of basing a conductor's baton's length on the length of the person's forearm this was the closest match I found short of ordering a custom baton. And I liked the shape of the cork handle. It reminded me of batons I'd seen used by band and coral directors. Initial feedback was that this baton seemed fine. Later feedback was based on interactions between the new user and much more experienced conductors. They thought this baton too short and gifted two longer and nicer batons to the recipient of this baton. None the less, this was a good baton to try first and should work exceedingly well for some. I learned that even well known symphony conductors through history have used what most consider odd-ball batons which supports the notion that what feels comfortable to the individual will work fine.

It's all good
This is a fine baton to use for practice, or general, non-concert use, or as a backup.

Reasonably nice baton
Light, a little odd feeling in my hand, small medium female hand, but worth the price.
