St. Elmo Steak House Coarse-Cut Horseradish, Great with Steaks and Other Meats

Hands down the Best Horseradish we've had outside of high end restaurant. We have been looking for several years & purchasing different ones carried in stores here in California to No Avail, it's all bland & a waste. This Horseradish has the Flavor, Taste & Kick that you want in Horseradish. I even purchased roots & grated part of one & planted the rest. The smell was great, but it was so mild a baby could eat it. St Elmo Steak House Course-Cut Horseradish - Y'all know what you're doing & do it Right. Thank you so much. i ordered 6 bottles of St. Elmo Steak House course-cut Horseradish to bring back to Brazil in South America. Since I live abroad, I ordered early and the shipment had 3 leaking bottles of the 6 I ordered. I was very disappointed with the covers leaking and felt it was too risky to take the remaining 3 bottles back to Brazil in case they leaked in my suitcase. This is a great product (the horseradish) but the bottle and lid needs to be redesigned. I just am disappointed that I couldnbt bring any of the St. Elmo horseradish back with me.

HOT, HOT, HOT. I LOVE TO MAKE COCKTAIL SAUCE FOR SEAFOOD AND HORSERADISH SAUCE FOR BEEF. This by far is the best prepared horseradish I have ever used. It is definitely bottled fresh with just a tad of vinegar. Taste is amazing. Like grating your own fresh root.

Finely, a Horseradish that taste like old school horseradish.. It has bite to it and a really good taste. This is the third different horseradish from other manufacture I tried, and it's living up to my type. It is hot and spicy and mostly vinegar and the radish, no real preservative or artfully flavorers. The real deal.

My product arrived with the box intact. When I opened the box, the horseradish was in a sealed bubble wrap bag and appeared undamaged. As I unwrapped the bubble wrap, it was obvious the product had leaked and come to find out, the cap was loose and there was no seal. Hoping that I had only lost a little bit of the horseradish to spillage, I tasted it, and being familiar with this product, I can tell you that what I received is absolutely spoiled. When I request a return, it is not eligible. I won't be gambling on this product again.

Buy this somewhere else. The jar I bought at a grocery was great, very hot and more coarsely chopped than most -- however, Amazon shipped theirs the night before in a regular box. Wrapped well, but it had not been refrigerated for at least that long, and maybe for much longer. The jar clearly says "keep refrigerated," though it does not show up on the listing pictures (I looked before I bought). I had to get another bottle at the grocery store for Christmas dinner. That one was refrigerated, and had a better consistency. This is a food safety issue. I have no idea if the jar had been stored on a shelf in the warehouse - it was in bubble wrap but was room temperature. I had trouble getting to CS because buttons kept taking me to "not returnable" page. When I finally found a work-around, I was refunded, but CS blamed on delivery person. No way that person even knew what was in the box. My guess is it was stored in the warehouse on a shelf at room temp because no one looked at the box or the label. I would be very careful about ordering products that need to be kept cold unless from Fresh or listed as packed in dry ice. A two-day delivery is too long without refrigeration, even if cold before, which I doubt.

A nice horseradish. But, sorry. My idea of very spicy is eye-watering. And this isn't even close to that.
