Run large
First of all, these things are tougher than a $5 steak! You can’t kill them. My last pair finally retired after almost 10 years. They chew up broken glass and barbed wire and laugh out loud afterwards.Baddest *ss gloves you will ever own. Just be forewarned, they do run a bit large. I’m a size 10. I usually go between a large and an extra large glove. With these a medium will fit okay but I go with the large to allow for a little shrinkage if they get wet often. Plan accordingly.(Lost a star for being made in China 🇨🇳)Highly recommendThanks for reading

Runs small in size
I'm a doctor and wear L gloves. The size L fit like M gloves. Order a size larger than your usual.

So far so good
10 inches around my palm, sized down to large and fit is spot on. Tiniest bit tight, but finger length and thumb to index web are perfect, it'll break in. My opinion is get the size you wear in everything else, forget the size chart. Thick burley leather glove, you get what you pay for, this isn't a cheap Home Depot gardening glove!

Bomb Proof
These gloves are absolutely awesome!! I've been using the same pair for the last 10 years. They've just now started to give out, see pictures. I've bought a second pair but the first pair still has a long way to go before the garbage can.I use these for everything, rope handling, barbed wire, digging, general chores, catching feral cats, etc. These are a bargain at twice the price. Since I've owned my first pair I've shredded Petzl, Mechanics, Wells Lamont, Outdoor Research, Black Diamond, and others. The only downside is they are a bit heavy and take a little time to break in but once you do you have a decade worth of awesome. Or more......

Better than expected!
I had been using Australian kangaroo skin Jackaroo gloves for climbing on industrial and architectural projects for many years. Recently they were torn on a roughly constructed steel ladder. I tried to replace them from Australia but no-one there would ship to Hong Kong. I had the same experience with Amazon when I tried to purchase deerskin gloves from the US. After several weeks of searching Amazon sent me an email suggesting the Metolius Belay glove. They are well made and offer good protection. The leather is thicker than kangaroo skin but it is flexible enough for climbing. The fit is slightly tight but they will loosen up with use. Better a little snug than too loose.
