✅ Very Fast & Stable
For the longest time, I never bothered with wireless. As someone who games on PC, even the slightest delay or random ping spikes would throw me off, and sometimes something on my desk would also get thrown off. However since I’ve moved, I decided to clean everything up better, less cables here there & everywhere. So my setup is basically my main internet router, with the wireless disabled. That is directly connected to the TP-Link Archer AX20. And that is what handles all the wireless stuff as it’s obviously better all round than a standard internet router. Anyway with this T3U Plus connected to 5GHz, I literally get the exact same speeds and ping as a direct Ethernet connection. My internet isn’t the fastest, but the wireless stats are the same speeds. Maybe it’s due to WiFi 6, but I’ll be keeping this and I can feel comfortable playing games. Setting up was easy, just plug it into a 3.0 USB port and it’s up and running straight away, you’ll see the WiFi icon (or search for it) then connect. There will be a note mentioning how it can run faster in a 3.0 USB port. I was confused as I was sure I put it in one, and I did, the message just remains there I guess. So yeah guys, WiFi isn’t as bad or unpredictable as it was years ago. Overall it works well, good value for money, it’s not too big, very happy with it.

Very good adapter, even though nobody looks at 5 star reviews
Honestly, it’s not the most simple adapter to use because you have to install drivers, great quality and very good speeds for the price, Its fully functional and I haven’t had any issues, it’s plug and play. If it’s in the back it’s discreet, while the antenna is quite big it is streamlined by all means, does what it says on the tin, I highly recommend.

Great WiFi Dongle for the Price, Still Works Well After 2 Years
I’ve been using the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus WiFi dongle for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid choice for the price. It was super easy to set up and gives a strong, stable connection with good range, especially with the dual-band support and the 5dBi antenna. After about two years, I did have a couple of issues with the connection dropping now and then, but nothing too serious. A little troubleshooting and it was back to normal. Overall, it’s been amazing for the past few years, and I’ll definitely buy it again when I need a new one. If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable WiFi dongle, this one’s definitely worth it.

TP-Link Archer T3U Plus WiFi Dongle, AC1300: The Wi-Fi Whisperer
If your Wi-Fi signal was a party, the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus would be the DJ that suddenly makes everything better. You know, the one who walks in with a magical USB stick and instantly turns your weak, sad connection into a smooth, fast, and reliable one. It’s like Wi-Fi 2.0—faster, stronger, and better looking. First of all, let’s talk setup: It’s so easy, I almost feel like I cheated. Plug it in, wait for the drivers to install, and bam—you're surfing the web like you’ve just discovered the internet again. It’s like the dongle waved a magic wand and told your device, “You’re going to get the best signal in town, my friend.” And let’s not forget range. I’m talking about a Wi-Fi connection so strong it could reach across the room, through walls, and even through the neighbor’s house. My Wi-Fi now reaches places I thought were forever lost to the digital void. If Wi-Fi were a superhero, this dongle would be the one who flies through walls to rescue your connection, no cape required. The speed? AC1300. That's a fancy way of saying it's like your Wi-Fi is on a caffeine rush. Buffering? That’s for people who still have dial-up. Streaming? Smooth as butter. Gaming? Lag who? In short, if your Wi-Fi has been throwing a tantrum, get the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus. It’ll fix your connection faster than you can say "buffering." It's like giving your device a Wi-Fi makeover—one that actually works.

Good but link doesn’t work for installing driver
Works well. Bumped me from 50 mbps to 600-650 mbps. The link on the leaflet didn’t work but you can still find the driver download link if you navigate the tp link website. Good product, would recommend.

Chose 5ghz and install TP link drivers
Everyone should read this, critical for speed: 1 - My pc wasnt connecting to 5ghz, so I had to disable 2.4 ghz from the router page. Make sure you connect to 5ghz for max speed if you are close to the router enough. My speed jumped from 90 to 310 after this. 2 - Make sure you install drivers for this wifi dongle, the driver installed automatically by windows doesnt give you max speed. My speed jumped from 310 to 510 after this. Reason is windows driver does only work 1x1 mode, not giving the device full potential.

Archer T3U Plus has USB3.0 connection issues
I can no longer recommend the TP-Link Archer T3U Plus USB Wi-Fi adapter. It no longer operates in USB 3.0 mode and is instead forced by the TP-Link driver to run in USB 2.0 mode, which significantly reduces its performance. If you search for "TP-Link USB 3 Wi-Fi adapter always shows as USB 2 on Windows", you'll find that this is a widespread issue affecting many users. Based on discussions on various forums, it appears that running the adapter in USB 3.0 mode can cause it to overheat, leading to instability and random disconnections. It seems TP-Link's solution has been to force the adapter into USB 2.0 mode through the driver rather than address the underlying hardware problem. Unfortunately, this issue only appeared around six months after I purchased it, so I was no longer able to return it. What disappoints me most is that a product advertised as a USB 3.0 adapter is now effectively restricted to USB 2.0 speeds. I have managed to force the adapter back into USB 3.0 mode by modifying the Windows registry so I know its not an issue with my PC, but customers shouldn't have to edit system settings just to restore the advertised functionality and even then, it comes with the risk of instability.

Could be better
Seems to be quite hardware/firmware dependent on whether it will work or not. It's more Plug and Pray than Plug and Play. Wouldn't connect a PC to a Huawei router, but worked with a laptop and SagemCom router. Interestingly, came with a CD which I assume contained drivers, but that makes me wonder how old this technology is? I mean, who even has a CD drive now? Even though it's a reasonably familiar brand (which is why I bought it), I couldn't recommend this.
