Excellent case for a budget build but can also install Noctua D15 heatsink for OCing. Easily the best value for the money.
Excellent case for my first build. Could not recommend this case enough. I spent hours researching budget cases and I don't particularly like those marketed as gaming cases that have really strange over exaggerated designs, I prefer a more understated look. That said I found this and after a lot of video reviews I was convinced this was the case for me. I love the fact that its incredibly sturdy, most of the other cases I saw had a good amount of flex or wobbliness to them which I did not like at all. Cable management was a breeze as you can tuck the vast majority of it behind the motherboard panel on the right and the tool-less drive bays make drive installation extremely quick. Pre-installed motherboard standoffs were great however if you're installing an ATX board you will want to remove the middle standoff for the smaller boards or make sure your ATX motherboard has a hole near the middle to accommodate it (which seems to be more common now with quality motherboards). The case also has plenty of room to accommodate large graphics cards and the popular EVO 212 Heatsink. The only cons I can think of with this case is that it doesn't include a speaker for the POST and that the power button is mushy as opposed to one that clicks and is flush with the case making it a tad difficult to find in the dark at times. The extra mounting areas for fans also lack dust filters but this only really affects the bottom intake as that will be the one to bring in the most dust and there are plenty of aftermarket solutions available to remedy this. This is being extremely nit-picky though and for $50 this case can't be beat if you're after a simple tool-less design. For budget builds this case is a fantastic value. - Posted December 2014 - =================== November 2017 EDIT==================== Still rocking this case and recently decided to venture into overclocking and basically overhauled my build. Happy to say that this case accommodates the Noctua NH-D15 which for this particular case is the best heatsink you can ask for since the better water-cooling solutions don't fit without modding the case itself. I also installed extra fans on the case and am still impressed with the mounting options available here. However due to this you may opt to seal up the intake ventilation holes you're not using with fans mounted on them (such as the side and bottom) with something like duct tape to optimize the airflow in the case. All in all this case is still as good as the day I bought and until I decide I need some water cooling I don't see myself replacing this case any time soon.

Simple, and great.
If you want a simple, inexpensive Budget build case with lots of room for expansion, this is your case. Pros: Lots of space Good cable management Inexpensive but still feels sturdy Lightweight Quick swap bays Lots of room for expansion Lots of fan mounting slots Rubber grommets for all fan mounting holes Hyper 212 Evo Fits Large Video cards fit Simple, Pleasant design(personal preference) Cons: Its a LONG way from Power supply on bottom to MOBO on top (negligible) My Build: Corsair Carbide Series 200R Compact ATX Case CC-9011023-WW Corsair CX Series 500 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33GHz Desktop Processor ArticSilver 5 Thermal Paste Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT LGA 775 G41 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard DDR3 1333 Crucial 8GB kit (4GBx2) DDR3-1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) Non-ECC UDIMM MSI AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card Samsung 850 EVO 120GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E120B/AM) Win 8.1 64bit OEM Noctua SSO2 Bearing, Retail Cooling NF-F12 iPPC 2000 IP67 PWM Silverstone Technology All Black Sleeved 1-3 PWM Fan Splitter Cable (CPF02) Anker® Uspeed PCI-E to USB 3.0 2 Port Express Card, with 1 USB 3.0 Generic LG DVDR/RW Sata3 Several SATA3/6 cables. I found this case through PCPartpicker.com Where you can make sure your build is mostly compatible. Its not perfect, but it will keep you on the right path. Thanks for reading, and have a great day. Good luck with your Build!

In relation to the Carbide 200R, I want to say as few things as possible to avoid boring the people who might benefit from this reveiw. This was my first time build for a family member and I wanted to do it as cheap as possible, I know this case isn't exactly cheap but its a value product, its like the difference between buying a knock off tablet or a Nexus, you get quality for an ideal price range. The 200R, considerations: * The case itself is beautiful (in my opinion and the amazon photos do it justice); * Its not a flimsy case like some tech websites describe it to be, its not Armour plated either but its comparable to the stock case you get in a 300$ to 600$ computer; * The case is completely black, has two USB 3.0 ports and is not all metal, the HDD platters are plastic and the front of the case is also. It really doesn't matter though about the plastic as its a hard type of plastic that I'm sure will last and isn't likely to break; * It supports ATX and mATX boards (took me quite a bit of time to figure out the mATX part as I needed a mATX case); * The case comes with extra screws inside but nothing else; * Its got 2.5" and 3.5" bays which means you can use a old laptop HDD or a 3.5" disk, its up to you. It has good cable management for a entry level case and I think it really makes it easy for anyone to install and mount all the components they need. Trust me a good case really does help with everything, its the decisive point on how your build will go. I suggest getting some more fans for the case they are so cheap and it helps with airflow, plus some led ones wouldn't hurt as the case has no lighting itself. Overall if you have researched quite a bit and are indecisive on whether or not you should get it, I say go for it, you really can't loose (in my opinion) and if you are a noob at this and want a good looking functional case this is it definitely. Overall: a great case that supports mATX and ATX boards, its really up gradable and supports large graphics cards and even some water cooling systems.

Amazing product by corsair. This cabinet is so fancy it can almost handle anything to want to install in it. It fits even the large water CPU coolers as well as large graphics card. Awesome cabinet. Loved it.

First of all with some hindsight I understand my mistake by going overboard with the cooling and really filled the case to it's utter maximum capacity, something I didn't knew a couple months ago until I saw everthing I had to cram into that not-so-big case ahaha Back in August I decided to build myself my next gaming pc and this case was the most recommended one BUT for a first timer in pc building it was a real nightmare to fit everything I've bought inside properly. I used pcpartpickers and spent countless hours reading about everything to be sure it would all fit together beforehand, it was correct it did fit but it took me a while to figure things out. I ended up dismantling and trying new ways to fit this and that, I saw the sun come down and then back up ... TL:DR This is a very nice case but please for your own sanity, don't overfill the case and you'll be perfectly fine and if this is your first build, do as forementioned and get a friend to help you lol Build : MOBO : MSI Z390-A PRO LGA1151 (Intel 8th and 9th Gen) M.2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 DDR4 HDMI DP CFX Dual Gigabit LAN ATX Gaming Motherboard CPU : -Intel BX80684I99900K Boxed Core i9-9900K Processor, 16M Cache, up to 5.00 GHz 3.6 8 -CPU COOLER : Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2x NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown) GPU : ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 AMP 6GB GDDR6 192-bit Gaming Graphics Card, Super Compact, IceStorm 2.0, ZT-T20600D-10M RAM : Corsair VENGEANCELPX16GB (2X 8GB) DDR4 3600 Mhz C18 (Pc4-28800) 1.35V Desktop Memory -Black CASE COOLING : 3 x Noctua NF-F12 PWM, 4-Pin Premium Quiet Fan (120mm, Brown) + 2 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM, 4-Pin Premium Quiet Cooling Fan (140mm, Brown) PSU : EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G3, 80 Plus Gold 650W, Fully Modular, Eco Mode with New HDB Fan, 7 Year Warranty, Includes Power ON Self Tester, Compact 150mm Size, Power Supply 220-G3-0650-Y1 STORAGE : Windows 10 Pro on : Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 250GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V7S250B/AM) Everything else is stored on 1 x Seagate BarraCuda 3TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 Inch SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache for Computer Desktop PC (ST3000DM008) BLUERAY DRIVE : LG WH16NS40 Super Multi Blue Internal SATA 16x Blu-ray Disc Rewriter
