Cooler Master High Performance Thermal Paste - (HTK-002-U1)

The Cooler Master High Performance Thermal Paste is a very good quality thermal paste to use. Although there is not much to talk about when it comes to thermal paste, I'll try to review it as best as I can. Usability: So it comes in a nice syringe-style thing (like most thermal pastes) that helps easily squirt it and cover the area you are putting it on. Not much else to say here, besides that it is easily usable. Package: Inside the packaging, there were two templates that helped you put the thermal paste on so you wouldn't get it on anything, and so it is spread evenly and thoroughly. This is very helpful and somewhat unexpected, but it really helped to put it on. Performance: This is the main part. After applying it, I put it on and decided to go for a test drive. Previously, I was getting normal temps of about 60 degrees C, which is insanely high for normal computer usage, while in games, it would go over 100 degrees and actually cause it to shut itself down. Obviously it was overheating, so I decided to try reapplying thermal paste. I went with this one after a recommendation, and after trying it, it was so much better. I went down to high 30s low 40s even during games, and my computer was much more reliable now. I can definitely use it much better without worrying about the temps, and I can tell you that it is a load off of my mind. There were no problems with it whatsoever, and there is still more than half left in the syringe so if I even need it again years from now, I'll have more handy. To apply it, I used a Q-Tip, and just spread it around until it was completely covered, and just pasted it on. Worked like a charm! Hopefully this review helped, and happy shopping!

My 4 year-old laptop was having real problems over-heating, then just dying on me. No blue screen most of the time, but it would start beeping continuously and then shut itself down - Thankfully, because that prevented permanent damage to my system. I cleaned the fans, which were only a bit dusty, but that didn't help. So I watched a could YouTube videos about redoing the thermal paste, and set to work. Since I've done that, no beeping, no dying, and the disc utilities I downloaded report great operating temperatures. Problem solved for under $10. Note: Ease of spreading isn't really an issue with most of the ways the videos suggested for applying the paste. Simply put, you put a dollop of paste on the processor and put the heat sink back on. It spreads itself.

It's a high performance "Industrial" cooler, and it shows. I guess this does much better than the other one with nano particles. It's a cheaper solution that hasn't let me down. Tested it for over two months now, under extreme conditions (room temperature: 36º C (you read that right), AMD APU, running Need for Speed Most Wanted, Far Cry 3 and Bad Company 2 via Wine on Linux Mint 19.2) literally fries my GPU at 89~91º C. Stock cooler for my Acer Aspire 5 was even worse, at 94~97º C, but this one cools it more effectively and does it faster: as I exited out the applications, I witnessed my temps going back to normal under 40 seconds. And you may be wondering but who the hell would try this on a laptop processor?! Well I did, and can recommend you to do the same if your aging Arctic Silver can no longer help you out. I only wished the instructions this cooler came with were a little clearer, as it left me with more questions than answers. Also, for the price, CoolerMaster could've included some isopropyl alcohol, to help remove the old thermal application before applying theirs.

I like to maintain my computer tower pretty regularly, so I change the thermal paste on CPU pretty often. I'd say every three to six months depending on how dusty the room is, so I go through thermal paste pretty regularly it's nice to be able to find a cheap buy on here for great quality.

My main reason for this purchase was inspired by a YouTube video. My child's XBox 360 stopped working correctly and I went on YouTube for assistance. This YouTuber implied that Thermal Paste was the answer to all my problems. First off, I admire the way that this paste is packaged. To me, it is a safety feature for moms with young children. The see through window reminds me of what is in the package and to make sure it is kept out of children's reach. Next, I really love the syringe that the paste comes out of. It allowed me to adjust the amount of glue I needed for this project. This was critical in this case. Only a small amount need be applied. The slow flow also keeps me from making a mess. Overall, this was an excellent buy and it fixed the Xbox issue. Thank you Cooler Master, your paste is great!!

Mom needed this to re-apply new thermal paste to my brothers PC CPU. She said it worked well and like it was supposed to. She liked that it was in a syringe tube instead of a small lidded container where she would have to find something to scoop it out because she never had that plastic spreader when she needed it. She normally gets the Silver stuff in a tube but was happy to see the white thermal paste this time. She squeezed the amount out onto the CPU, used an old CC to spread it, covered it with the heatsink/fan and now it stops shutting down. A quick fix for overheating she said, especially when the old stuff is dried up . Great buy and she said will buy again.

I used for a 2700x cpu, as everyone knows these run high voltage so gets hot. Even though amd says its normal I had it running at 48 on idle and up to 90 when stressing. I did use a deep cool heatsink and this since the artic I used was so thick. I am now at 41 on idle and 77 on 30 min stress test. I can't say how much better this worked then artic since I used different fan but almost a 10 degree difference by spending $30 on this and heatsink is definitely better. I did prefer the easy to spread ability. it sticks and spreads easily. Of course there is no difference in how you apply as far as a best way so I prefer to cover the entire cpu then smooth out with a drop on the heatsink. I am satisfied

Comienzo diciendo que el tamaño es más que suficiente para varias de instalaciones o actualizaciones de microprocesadores y/o ventiladores. Llega tal y como aparece en la fotografía del producto la he usado para instalar un par de micros nuevos, a pesar de que los microprocesadores nuevos incorpora una pequeña capa de pasta, decidí ponerle una pequeña cantidad más. Por lo demás no puedo decir nada más artículo muy económico y más que suficiente para el propósito que se persigue. Recomendable bajo mi punto de vista por todo, precio, envío y calidad.

In all honesty I've been installing CPU's for near 15 years and I've used pretty much every brand, in all honesty after testing I never had one time where another really out did another. So with that said and because this brand has long been around it's an easy choice. They've thrown in a plastic applicator (credit card) and templates if you want to try and get really technical. It's not necessary to get it like a science show but hey it's all good. Have fun!

This stuff is good I know there are better products but there for long term use where this stuff is easy to clean and REALLY easy to spot any spillage due to the color and even if you do despite CPU socket using a very soft brush and isopropyl alcohol 70-100% I use 100% as it will clean it. ( Leave it for 10 Mins to Dry ) The only issue it took 2 weeks to get here but this was during covid-19 lockdowns so I was ok with it. I bulk ordered a bigger quantity of this paste.
