Bought this for my bluebird turned chickadee nest box. Saw the chickadees fighting with house sparrows that were trying to take over the box. I ordered these immediately. These arrived a couple days early thankfully. Since I have installed them on the box I have not seen the house sparrows attempting to take over anymore. The chickadees accepted the whole reducers without any issues. Great product with easy installation. Even adds character to the box with the copper finish.

I have woodpeckers galore around here, and they enlarged the entrance for my earlier chickadee winter roost box to suit themselves. Not the latest one, equipped with this. They haven't even challenged it as far as I can tell, and the hole remains the proper size for chickadees. Of course they have the old box for themselves so maybe they haven't bothered. Either way, I'm very happy with the product. Looks good too on a white-painted background.

This item works as advertised. Problem was I ordered the wrong size for the houses I had already built. I guess I need to build more bird houses now.

Squirrels were making my nest box holes huge! I placed this guard on them, and problem solved! Look nice, came with screws...easy peezy !!

I like the items, but I feel they might be a little over priced. I live out in the country and have a large bird house collection. My big issue are the Red Headed Woodpeckers. They seem to think they need to get into every bird house I put out. They are excellent to ward them off, but I cannot afford to put them on all my birdhouses. Thanks for a beautiful product! I now use large flat washers with the same dimensions.

These work well and are easy to install. The copper blends well with different colors and styles of birdhouses. I had to install them on all my birdhouses. I thought the damage was being caused by squirrels until I witnessed the woodpecker culprit with my own eyes. A simple and effective solution to my woodpecker problem. I am pleased with my purchase.
