Cool rocket!
This thing is pretty cool! I decided to just paint the whole thing black because it's what I had on hand. Thought I'd write this review before I launch it because it sounds like I might not get it back😅. Had a little trouble with fin alignment, but after a few tries, it turned out alright. My favorite glue for making rockets is hot glue because it's sturdy, easily shaped, and dries almost instantly. The only downside side is it's more messy, and since it's almost instant, you really have to be fast and precise! Overall, it was a nice and easy build that is good for beginners (as long as you don't mind painting).

Cheap and Fast
This rocket is built for speed and for height. It is small with a very durable fin system. It is not a difficult rocket to make and it will take you about an hour to make it - depending on glue drying time. Everything about it is designed to minimize weight without sacrificing strength so it can go fast and high. It has a streamer rather than a parachute which is a good thing because of the height it attains. With a parachute it could very well sail off quite a distance from your launch zone. I like the solid fin system. They are stronger than normal. I found the recommended painting scheme to be a bit too much, even though I did it by the suggested way. You might just want to spray paint the whole thing one solid color. Nice little rocket, cheap and fast. Remember that this is just a rocket. You still have to purchase engines, wadding and a launcher if you are just starting out in the hobby.

Well That's Just Adorable
I build the Hi-Flier XL a few weeks back, and love it on a D12 or E16, but then I saw this lil baby version...had to give it a go. It's so tiny! Like SUPER tiny! I did not realize it was that much smaller than the XL. This thing uses 18mm (Estes A/B/C) motors with a minimum dimension body tube, but it really should be using like a 1/2A3-5T or some other teeny tiny motor with a mount. This dude is small! And we love it :) Streamer recovery FTW. More rockets need streamer recovery.

Careful when you pack or check before packing and shipping product.
What to watch for. Everything went well. Only issue one of the rocket tubes was crushed.

Estes rocket easy to build
Got this to replace one I lost. Very easy to build. Flies pretty high with c6-7 engine. Has streamer recovery.

Total waste of money
The instructions weren’t in English and it was extremely difficult to out overhear. In fact, as my husband and son were assembling it, it broke!

Rocket motor restraint clip
I didn't like the restraining clip being mounted externally on the fuselage. It's fully functional and flies very fast to unbelievable altitudes.

Great Results on launch day!
Easy first time rocket to build for my 11 year old son, great results on launch day too. Did not disappoint, he now wants to build more rockets! We went out to Plaster City, CA with his scout troop. His rocket performed as indicated in the instructions. No wind, flew high and straight, chute deployed perfectly. Able to launch and recover 7 times! Brought it home and will replace the chute, it will be good as new! Thanks, Estes!

Easy to build - Fun to fly
This rocket arrived in three days, so I was quite pleased. The cardboard tube was a little crushed but there was no sense sending it back. It was easy to assemble, taking about an hour and a half (not including drying time for the glue and paint). I replaced the streamer with a much longer one, nearly 7 feet and ALWAYS put some string-line marking chalk in the tube before launch. Since it's very easy to lose sight of the rocket when it passes 1500 feet, the chalk makes a good cloud when the streamer deploys. Without the chalk and longer streamer, we would have lost it long ago. We usually use C6-5 motors which launch it high enough to impress anyone. Next we're going to try launching it with a D10-7W motor. Might lose it when it hits 3000+ feet but at $8, the fun will outweigh the loss. This rocket has been a lot of fun and I will buy another if we lose it.

Worthless
Does not come with all parts needed to launch. Total scam

good value, easy to build
Bought several for a class rocket project, but would liked to have had a parachute option instead of a streamer, but this one was the best value and skill level (easy build).

A Fun Project for Family Bonding
I got this item about a week ago for a weekend activity with my kids, and I have to say, it was a blast! The first impression when I opened the box was how well everything was organized; all the parts were neatly packed, and the instructions were clear enough for my 10-year-old to follow. It took us about an hour to put everything together, and honestly, we had fun just figuring it out as a team. Once it was all set up, we took it to a local park to launch. The first launch was nervous yet thrilling! It shot up pretty high, and everyone in the park turned to watch, which was exciting. After the first couple of tries, we started to get the hang of it, but we did have a few hiccups. One of the launches didn't go as planned and fell about twenty feet from where we were standing, which worried the kids a bit at first. But honestly, that’s part of the learning experience. For a family activity, it was totally worth it, and everyone had a giggle watching it soar through the air. Pros: • Easy to assemble with clear instructions • Great for family bonding • Exciting launch experience Cons: • A few launches resulted in some minor damages • Need to be careful with recovery Overall: I recommend this product. I'm giving it a 4-star rating because it was a lot of fun and a unique family activity, despite a couple of small setbacks. If you’re looking for a project to do together, I’d say go for it!

Outta sight!
Easy build. Use the clay. I launch quite a few rockets. I kid you not, this one went straight up and out of sight. (C6-5) A few seconds later I heard the ejection charge pop but never seen the thing again. With 8 of us looking. That's using the streamer. I may get another and throw some chalk dust in with the streamer to try to keep an eye on it. It was a beautiful sight... Until it wasn't. 🚀🙋
