Outstanding Value.
I've had a few months to try these brushes for a variety of applications. These brushes far exceed the quality and performance of the common wooden handled chip brushes. The bristles are denser packed, more uniform and leave an above average finish for both oil and latex based paints. The bristles are a good balance between a soft and firm feel. Another huge benefit is that these bristles don't fall out onto your wet surface (a common and annoying problem with the poorer quality wooden handled chip brushes). The bristles and plastic handle clean exceptionally well for latex paints and water-based glues, ready for re-use on your next project. At approximately 63 cents each when I purchased them, you can just toss them out after use which is what I do for anything that doesn't rinse out with water. They won't replace a expensive pro brush like a Purdy when applying high end finishes on expensive items, but these can't be beat for general purpose applications and will provide surprisingly good performance. Skip the low-end wooden handled chip brushes, you'll be happier and less annoyed.

Good cheap brushes
The brushes were a really good price so I purchased it to repaint my walls. The bristles are long enough and holds the paint well enough to apply to the walls. It also hasn't embedded any loose bristles into the wall so that is a plus.

very good disposable brushes... that you can clean and re-use too!
Great brushes. but not the best. They are cheap enough for throw away uses... and they work exceedingly well for 90% of the things you might use them got but the bristles are a tad too stiff and to short and the brush a bit to thin for some things. still I have bought three batches so far and will continue keeping some on hand.

Good quality, good value.
Upon arrival there were some loose hairs but once these were removed, the rest seem well attached and I do not expect further shedding. The tip was not smooth on 1 of 5 brushes (some hairs longer than others) and needed to be trimmed. Appear to be well made and with a firm but soft brush effect.

surprisingly good brushes
Chip brushes are normally really cheapo brushes that are not very good so you can use them for low-end paint jobs that you don't care too much about and then throw them away afterwards. But honestly, I have bought these brushes from Amazon twice now, and I'll tell you they are not cheapo, they are pretty good brushes! Yeah, I do sometimes just throw them away instead of cleaning them aftewards (especially if it's an oil-based paint or stain), but I clean them and use them again over and over sometimes, too. You'll be surprised, they are well-put together.

Best chip brush i have ever used
I have been in the industrial paint business for 30 years and have been tortured with chip brushes the whole time , but no torture with these. These are the best chip brushes i have ever used, worth every penny not having to fight removing bristles from a touch up or field weld job.

It does shed!
No shed..I think not! As soon as I opened the box, there are bristles inside

The finish these brushes give is atrocious, BUT, if you just need one, to do a tiny touch up and then cannot be bothered to clean the brush, these are fine. You'll want to do all the tiny little touch up jobs just to get rid of the box of crap brushes you have bought. Don't bother getting these to paint a room or anything, get a single decent brush instead. So, could be useful, but think of them as single use and don't waste your life cleaning them.
