I like the way it handles it does not hurt the cat and my my cat has fleas it caught them and they stick in there until you put them in hot water and soap. But this and cheristin my cat is flea free

These are really nice and very sturdily made. I was more than delighted with the quality, and the two size spaced tines on the larger comb make it easy to get tangles out. The flea and tick combs are especially nice, since although our deug takes flea and tick medicine that works very well, the fleas and ticks are still on him, those that are not repelled which is not many at all, so it is good to clean them out of the hair. (He's a Maltipoo, they have hair not fur.) I highly recommend tis set. The storage bag is a nice touch.

Adopted a rescue kitten whom turned out to be infested with fleas. Bought this comb set to help with. Irradiation the fleas. This set worked as advertised. We utilized in conjunction with washing her with Dawn dish soap. Combed daily and removed 3 to 5vfleas per combing. In the end she was so heavily invested we had to have the vet treat her. We still comb her with this set, she enjoys it, it doesn't appear to cause any hair pulling and does well with keeping her coat shiny and soft.

Broke after a few light uses. The teeth come loose and stick out, making the comb dig into the skin and cause pain. This is the second set. I had to replace the first one for the same reason. The first set also arrived slightly damaged without the packaging being damaged. Save your time and money. Another product sold here that belongs in a dollar store. I replaced it with a much better comb from a local store for 1/5 of the cost.

These combs are perfect for combing through my Shih Tzu's summer cut and his fluffy tail. He doesn't have fleas, but does tend to pick up little burrs on our walks and these comb them out gently.

My veterinarian had a comb like this and my cat loved it, so I ordered this set on Amazon and couldn't be happier with it. I have a cat so I don't really need the big comb, but it would be great for people with large furry dogs. These combs are much better than the flat head ones you get at department stores. Also, it came packaged so cute and handily in a velvet like bag inside of a resealable heavy plastic bag in case you keep it outside on the porch like I do. I highly recommend this set, so does my cat :)

I have a long hair and short hair cat.The long hair one isn’t particularly fond of brushing although he needs it so after about a half dozen other combs/brushes I’ve tried, this one is the winner. Using wide tooth to de-tangle and loosen (and remove some) hair before getting the flea comb to get the rest has made it easier to brush and he seems to enjoy it now.Short hair cat just goes nutty for the flea comb too.All three of us like these combs.

Three combs for the price of one - and each seems to be relatively well built for home use.I especially like using the handled combs and have found them to do what they're supposed to when combing the dog for fleas or flea eggs. For a short hair or broken-coat dog, the fine teeth also work well after a bath.It's nice to get something that does what it's supposed to do without a whole lot of fuss.

They are good and the quality is excellent.
