Education is vital, so get kids started early.
Great mathematics book for children learning addition and subtraction. Large and clearly printed to kids standard in order for them to do it easily.

Exactly what we needed
Gave plenty of practice in addition and subtraction. Graduating difficulty. It was perfect for us and our student. There's an answer key at the end. I liked there were words problems on each page.

Excellent Repetition but Fast Paced at Start
An excellent arithmetic resource, exactly what I was looking for in regards to old school, daily repetition. My one complaint with the Double Digit Workbook is that there are only about 12 days worth of actual double digit facts before it jumps into addition to the hundreds and then thousands place. It also moves very quickly from addition without regrouping to addition with regrouping (only four days without). I’ll need to check to see if the Single Digit Workbook introduces double at all before it ends, but I find the progression very fast paced unless your child has had significant previous practice with single digit addition and subtraction. Update: Fantastic, and the pacing is a nonissue so long as your child/student has come up using the single digit addition and subtraction workbook first. I’m very impressed with how quickly this has helped my student improve their ability to do mental math. One page a day really does make a huge difference in retention, I still highly recommend.

Great 2nd Grade Math Workbook
My son really wasn't enjoying some of the online math activities the school recommended while distance learning so I bought this - it was such a great price it was worth a try. I showed the teacher and she approved. Now he does two pages a day for math practice and it's easier than having to get him on a website and find the password. Unlike with the computer it's not timed or stressful, he doesn't fight or get frustrated, he just does the work and it's fine. I would recommend this for supplementing distance learning or keeping kids sharp during the summer.

Large print, easy for beginning writers to have room to work
I liked the size of the writing font the most. Usually when I buy these kinds of the books the print is quite small and my son (how has yet to care about near, legible print) has a hard time keeping in line with the text of the problems. These books have large enough print for even MY kid to easily write in line with the problems. The book is separated into sections of simpler problems progressing to more difficult ones. Each page gives a small heading so you can easily scan for the level of difficulty. None of the pages are perforated but considering how inexpensive the book is I don't really count that as a downside.

This is a great workbook. It's very well layed out and clear to read. We did a couple of page of each topic each day when school were closed and it worked very well. My child enjoyed it so much so he'd often do two pages of each topic. We will continue to use this book and I Highly recommend it.

Good book, doing math drilling every day. Nice set for a day. I'd say that word problems lack space for writing. otherwise. great resource
