Solo Cake/Pastry Filling Raspberry, 12 oz X 2 cans

Year after year, decade after decade, I can ALWAYS count on Solo Pastry Filling. My supermarket does not carry this and prefer the pastry filling over any pie filling or jam. After baking, this product stays soft and juicy and does not solidify like sugar filled jams. My Hamantaschen cookies come out perfect when they're filled with Solo. My only complaint is if I want to buy the prune or poppyseed filling, it only comes in a 12 can option.

Quality & convenience

Tastes good; but know that it contains a lot of seeds. I used this as a cake filling along with some chocolate icing. Everybody said that it was delicious. I definitely will use it again. I do like the portion size. Perfect for filling a 12 inch round cake.

I used this as a cupcake filling,,was delicious. I will continue to use this product.

I love that this product has such an intense fruity flavor, you can actually use a little less "because more is not always better". I use mine for the little hand held turnover pies, I bake of a batch of the and take them to my husbands nursing home, there are always a big hit. It's something a patient can hold and eat without help. Its always so amazing that the sense of taste is probably one of the last things for the memory to lose because almost all the patients remember those little head held Hostess Fruit Pies in the 50's and 60's they were only a dime in those days!
