Looks nice has good detail
For the price a great value. But still mass produced item. Not recommended to collect.. Nice display item, (similar to cosmetic jewelry>> "looks well without displaying a costly item to be damaged"!

FAKE- DO NOT BUY
This product is not original it is a copy- DO NOT BUY IT! I am returning it and just received it. The teeth of the nutcracker are stained and the sign that says "FAO SHWARTZ" is on the back of the nutcracker.

Great Decoration for Holidays
I saw one of these at a local TJ Maxx store for $40 and wanted to get it; however, I noticed several chips on it so I decided it wasn't worth it. I checked Amazon later that day and decided to buy two for the mantle. I loved it - good quality decoration for the holidays!

Great Nutcracker
Beautiful item, solid wood with fine detail. FAO Schwartz metal emblem on the base really is a nice touch. It will decorate my house for years.

Nutcracker review
I didn't dislike any of this product. I was impressed by it's craftsmanship. It was delivered in a timely basis with no damage to the item or even the shipping box. Giving as a gift and can't wait to gift it !!
