Beware of size for yeezys
I bought these for my yeezys, which are made of very soft materials. My attempt was to stretch the tip portion upwards, trying to make more room for my toes. when using the recommended size for your shoe it ends up being too large. The back of the shoe starts developing a bump because of how much force the spring is applying. It also pushes the upper part of the shoe too harshly. I purchased a size L for my size 12 yeezy. however i will be buying a smaller size. The front portion fits very well and it did serve it’s purpose. I give it 4 stars because it lacks description of the item. The L shoes tree is 12.75 inches long. Without folding.

I am allergic to Cedar so I opted for pine trees.
It quite clearly states in the description and listing that these are pine shoe trees. They will not smell like cedar. That is why I bought them. My pine allergy is far less severe than my Cedar allergy. They are much sturdier than I expected. Came in a nice box, I love the strength of the springs. I already want a second set but I need to see if pine suits my needs first lol.Highly recommended for a basic shoe tree with minimal smell. They are not heavily varnished or anything like that and do feel porous, which is what you want in a wooden shoe tree. You will smell some pine, but it's quite fragrant compared to the usual woodshop smell. I'm pretty fond of it.

I mean I guess
It’s a great product the only issue is that the extra large does NOT fit a size 13 shoe. It fits a size 12 alright but all my other shoes aren’t being affected by them. It’s unfortunate cause it’s very high quality and was exactly what I was looking for. Now I guess I just have to keep looking.

Amazing shoe tree
These shoe trees are extremely easy to put in and take out. They keep my sneakers shape very well and I think value is some of the best I’ve seen out there. I also that it’s one solid piece of wood that you just slide in.

Depends on the shoe
Had two big issues with these-First, while you want unfinished shoe trees for the moisture absorption, you want them to be smooth so they don’t damage the shoes and 3 of these need to be sanded.Second, they just don’t fit all kinds of shoes, I found they were a perfect fit for some of my shoes but just didn’t fit properly in my dress shoes.

10-month Review | Great for Laced-up Shoes (not so much for leather loafers & moccasins)
Shoe Size: Men's 10 - 10.5 US (depending on style)Pine Shoe Tree Size: LL is a good fit for 10 and 10.5 US.Some reviews mention a smell of pine tree, mine have always been completely odorless.Unlike traditional shoe trees, these don't fill the void in the shoe and press uniformly on the shoe from the inside. They are more like those hard cardboard insteps sometimes found inside of new shoes. By arching/bending the spring between the instep and heel/stump of this pine tree, the pine instep places upward pressure on the shoe's instep, and the pine heel/stump presses directly back on the rear of the shoe.On laced up shoes and sneakers, this wasn't a problem. I tested these on my most inexpensive pair of laced up sneakers first, and I loved how they looked. The laces had just enough give, and the shoe looks filled, the pine shoe tree worked perfectly. But, when I tried them on a pair of leather loafer, I could see the pine instep applying that upward pressure and stretching the stitching on the shoes. I immediately took them out and ordered (also from this company) a set of 6 traditional-style split-toe cedar shoe trees to use in shoes without laces.DO I RECOMMEND?They are definitely inexpensive. That was a huge factor in me trying them out.I would definitely recommend for everyday, inexpensive shoes. Maybe for all of your shoes with laces.Personally, I'm finding myself slowly phasing these out. I will not purchase these again. If I had known I wasn't going to be able to use these with shoes that don't have laces, I probably wouldn't have purchased them, as the majority of my shoes are without laces.
