Nice variety, but they left out the Frankincense. UPDATE: FIXED. SENT ME TWO MORE FRANKINCENSE BAGS!
Where is the Frankincense? I got two white copals, but no Frankincense. The Frankincense was my whole thing . . . .I wonder what happened... The white copal smells good, and myrrh is always a nice thing, but I really just wanted to sample the others. I really wanted some frankincense. There wasn't any in the bag. Someone put two white copal samples in, and left out the frankincense.I didn't want to return it, because it would have cost me money to mail it back. Also, I wanted to burn some incense. The copals are ok. Wish I had frankincense, tho.Edit: The seller apparently saw this review. They took the time to write a note, and sent me another sampler pack with TWO frankincenses. Wow! Thanks very much. I appreciate being able to try each variety without spending a lot of moolah getting big packages. I do like the copal. By the way, they treated me to two extra ones of the white copal. Very fresh, kind of like a campfire - the really good-smelling kind of campfire.By the way, anyone, I've gotten Frankincense from a few diffent sources now. I just drop it on my red-hot charcoal. It smells great at first. Fragrant. Reminds me of going (reluctantly) to my Grandma's Lutheran church. Rich, warm, fragrant, sweet, natural, heady, ethereal. Familiar, exotic, human, spiritual. All the things. Then after the initial sweet aroma, an acrid, burnt smell rises from the brazier. It fills the place. The frankincense turns black and leaves a charcoal chunk. The secondary odor is awful. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I suspect I'm burning it too hot. Maybe if I use a piece of thin metal as a little "frying pan" to melt and vaporize the frankincense , . . . .Am I correct in assuming that I've heated it too hot? Do different varieties of frankincense behave differently? The copals don't have that characteristic, although the myrrh and benzoin do have a stinky burn at the end (this is why I think I need a wee pan.)

Smells about right...
I like the white copal, gold copal and sweet myrrh the best. The beautiful thing about this here sampler is that you can get a feel for what kinds of resin incense you really like. There are variations between manufacturers but overall it was cool to be able to try several out.

DON'T BUY * Missing "variety" and smells like chemicals.
I got ripped off with this product because I was excited about trying a "varity" of 3cm pieces of 6 different types of resins.Frankincense, Myrrh, 7 Archangels, White Copal, Gold Copal, and Benzoin the one I normally buy everytime is Benzoin.Basically this 50 gram mix; was actually 10 grams, was missing Benzoin pieces and was given 1/10th of a bag of powder. The Frankincense was okay not much given at least 7 little pieces. The white Copal and other Copal was the closest to what is advertised but they are the same product type and are the least expensive type of resin and shell of chemicals. The Archangel, Frankinsence , and Myrrh gave me SEVWRE NUESEA and smells like thick chemical not resin. It's seems like this seller kept the Benzoin for themselves and filled the other bags a tiny amount in a tiny plastic bag. I tried to size it with a quarter.Becarful about what you burn around yourself, pet's and family. Their was no ingredient list and is clearly a knock off made with unknown chemicals not resin.

Really nice to have this variety as someone new to resin scents
I'm new to burning resins. This was a great way to sample a variety of scents. Each is in a nice little resealable packet and clearly labeled. So far, really like the scents. Very happy.

Good amount of resin for sampling or gift giving!
These resins are very nicely packaged and labeled which is important for someone like me just getting into burning resins and isn't sure what each thing is! There's also a good variety of sized pieces, it's not all dust like I've seen at some stores but it's also not all really big pieces! Also, the seller is amazing! One of the packages was missing from my order and not only did they personally send me another one to replace it, they also sent extra goodies as an apology! Would definitely order again! These samplers packs will make a great gift as well!

Poor Quality Resin. If this is even resin at all.
I've been burning resin for years. I have a good source for sublime Frankincense & Myrrh. I had never smelled Copal or Benzoin so I decided to order this sample pack. I first tried the Frankincense & Myrrh in the electric bakhoor burner & was overwhelmed how they barely had the faintest odor. So I tried a charcoal, again nothing. All the other resins also smell of nothing. I feel grifted. I'm considering taking these to my friends lab & finding out what I bought.

It is ok!
This is resin. My recommendation is buying a higher quality product that doesn’t turn to tar after burning. Also make sure to buy charcoal that is not loaded with chemicals as it chokes out the main smell the incense should be providing. The product isn’t terrible, its ok but not great. The faint spicy smell is nice and gets into your close. If your a food worker this is great! Give it a sample, but i recommend higher quality.
