Parker Sonnet Matte Black Lacquer with Chrome Colour Trim, Fountain Pen, Fine nib with Black ink (S0818070)

This is the first time I've invested in a pen of this cost. I wasn't sure what I was paying for, when I'd see other fountain pens that looked the same, but of were much less of the cost. I now understand. This is one of the sturdiest, smoothest, finest writing tools I have ever had the pleasure of writing with. With the pen along with Parker Ink, I have enjoyed some of the smoothest writing experiences I have had to date. Thank you Parker.

Great Pen! Smooth writer that writes closer to the finer side between fine and medium with a decent ink output.

Lousy. Couldn't get ink through it. Returned it and bought a cheaper Pilot, which I just got and which works. These are not the Parker pens of my college days.

My mother bought me my first Parker fountain pen when I was in grade/elementary school. So, I have special feelings for Parker writing instruments. Over the years, I have used fountain pens from different manufacturers and countries, but for practical, reasonably priced fountain pens, there are very few that can beat Parker's. This one has a fine nib which I like and comes with a cartridge and an alternative internal filler mechanism. The pen is not heavy and it is well-balanced even with the cap on the barrel when you write. The flow of the ink is smooth and makes writing easy and comfortable. This is the pen that I use everyday.

It's a nice pen, except with a bit wet nib.

It's good quality as expected. The nib is a bit too wet, I would prefer it more on the F side and dryer but that's OK.

Very VERY good pen Shipping was delayed, hate dynamex forevermore. Don’t know why Amazon promotes DHL and yet they use dynamex here in Canada. Really disappointed in that But, it’s worth the wait, only because the pen is amazing Smooth, beautiful writing experience Worth every penny

Although the item description says: "Included with every Parker Sonnet Original Fountain Pen is a pack of 5 Parker Ink Cartridges a $4.60 Value Free", the box only contains: 1. The pen (with converter pre-installed) 2. A single ink cartridge in the bottom compartment of the box. So either this pen isn't "Parker Sonnet Original", or the description is wrong. In addition, sometimes the pen dries and I have to tap it from the back to get it going again (while using the ink cartridge from the box). This seems (google it!) to be a common problem with some parker sonnet pens.

Es una buena pluma fuente para su precio, se siente muy cómoda en la mano y no se atasca en el papel.

La caja me llegó deteriorada, por lo demás cumplió mis expectativas. Como era para regalar pedí cambiarla y en esta segunda ocasión sí llegó la caja y la pluma en perfectas condiciones.
