Hikari 4.4-Pound Staple Floating Pellets for Koi and Pond Fish, Medium

Been using this for several years. The fish seem to really like it, they've grown quickly, they've always been healthy, and it doesn't dirty the water. I use the Gold variety in the summer to maximize their color also.

This is the best koi food ever! I feed it to my goldfish, some of whom grew in my pond from babies. They are thriving, and have lived for years. The water stays clear, and the fish are lively. I consider other pond food to be inferior.

My Koi love it and price seems reasonable compared to other brands. I just received it last week Thursday so i'll have to write another review to see how this food helps out color wise for my Koi but so far so good, they all love it. This particular brand does have great reviews in Japan and so far majority of it stands true. I love that this is prime and received it timely :). I would definitely recommend this to other buyers as I cannot say enough great things about how much my Koi love this food.

You can smell real fish from the pellets. Notice that the pellets are hard and medium sized, so the pellets are not for small fish. The first time my koi felt the food was a little strange compared to their soft pellets from the other brand, but they really like it a few days later. The food ingredients have high nutrients and Hikari is a very respectable manufacturer that you can trust.

I ordered because the small retail version was no longer available near me. The tariff scare added to my willingness to buy 4 lbs.

I was worried that it was expensive, but it's a much bigger bag than I was expecting, making it a great deal! I normally buy from my local pet store but didn't have time to make the trip. I appreciate that the bag has a ziplock closure so I can reseal it as needed. My fish have been eating this food for over a year, and have great color and seem healthy.

Habe erstmalig über Amazon dieses Futter für unsere kleinen Fische bestellt. Es war mit nicht bekannt, dass es dieses Futter in unterschiedlichen Kugelförmigen Durchmesser gibt. Für kleine Fische nicht geeignet, die können dieses Futter nicht schlucken. Was mache ich n nun ? Kann ich die Ware umtauschen?
