Very helpful
I bought all 3 books in this series. (Others are Compuers ME and Win 10 ME) This book is at the perfect level for many people. Well-written, easy to understand, but not too dumed-down. Pefect for me, a long time computer user who has never seriously explored networks until now. It's a very good starting book for understanding networks, in a practical sense. for people who wish to apply the unformation seriously and continue to more advanced involvement, or people starting a career in this field.

I didn't know just how much I didn't know!
I've been using computers for more than 25 years but when I stepped anywhere outside of my little world of knowing the basics of Word, Excel and Project I was lost. I grew up long before using computers was ever taught in school. I had some clients in the EDP business and if you aren't old enough to know what that is it's Electronic Data Processing but I barely understood how they did what they did.Upon being told by a friend that I should read Mr. Bernstein's book, Networking Made Easy, so I did. Now, I have a much better understanding of the world I'd barely understood before. I'll now try reading some of his other books and see how much of a Geek I can become!Tom

Very Basic and the Kindle edition is full of spelling and grammatical mistakes
The book is simple and easy to ready. However, it is no more than a Glossary of Networking words. It is very basic; readers with humble knowledge of the subject will find nothing in it. Moreover, it lacks examples and diagrams.

Not useful
Some very basic information of little practical value. Not enough to set up, configure, or use even a simple windows home network. Key chapters are little more than glossaries of key terms that, again, to not help you do anything practical. Also, the writing is terrible.

Good coverage of a variety of networking topics
This book covers many key networking concepts and breaks it down so its easy to understand. It may not be a book for the next Cisco CCIE but its will definitely help those who want a good foundation in networking.

Amazing
This book is so we'll written, so much fun to read with a refreshing information about networking in general. Buy this book if you want to know what networking is.This book is written to shed light on the subject in general , not for taking tests to be certified

NOT FOR MAC
I was disappointed that this book mainly talks about windows and not MAC. It is a basic book for basic understanding that is about it.

Useful Information
I got this to supplement my Network+ book for the test I plan to take soon. It’s actually easier to understand than the actual study guide!

Not mapped to real world
What a shame. Bernstein clearly knows his subject, but tries to simplify geek words by SHOUTING! I'll talk about this/that later. And then chucks in some geek words. Ok, its important to get a handle on the terminology, but without much reference to "the real world" it aint easy! I really irritating and feeble read.

Très intéressant!
Beaucoup d’informations utiles pour différentes tâches reliées à la réseautique. Personnellement j’ai trouvé le contenu intéressant et utile. Je recommanderais ce livre sans hésiter.
