XS Scuba Surface Marker Buoy

Super easy to inflate, despite the large size -- the cavernous mouth of the SMB makes filling very reliable. The long webbing loop at the bottom is a headache, and I wrap it around my spool and hold it in place with a loop of bungee cord to minimize the entanglement hazard during a dive. This SMB is not as easy to stow once on the surface due to its size and the relief valve being at the top of the SMB (so it get rolled into the SMB while still needed). Despite those two drawbacks, this is a good choice.

A bit too bulky to carry. Takes a bit of air (two or three good breaths) to inflate at safety stop. Not easy to deflate and roll up at the same time. This is a SMB that will definitely be seen and I would use this only on dives in conditions where I'm very concerned about being seen. My wife has the 6' Storm High Visibility SMB which I prefer because it is nearly as good for being seen, is much smaller to carry, one breath to inflate at safety stop, and deflates easily while rolling up.

This product is very large.. no easy way to store it for diving.. might be better as a lift bag??

Great SMB, it's huge! I have it hooked up to a reel and I deploy it when coming up from deep dives, or if I'm not with anyone that has a dive flag.

Needed this for my extended diving class. Seems to be well made. Haven't used it yet.

Works great

This was a great Birthday gift for my husband. Our oldest son had just gone through scuba lessons with him and wanted him to have one of these. Compact, lightweight and hopefully will never have to use it.
