Metal over plastic any day!
Are you tired of the plastic Marshall handles cracking around the edges and lack of strength? These are the trick. The only and I mean only issue is the fact that on my old Marshall JCM 900 100 watt combo, I had to make the hole in the cab about a 1/4 inch taller for them to fit. They may fit other cab's perfect, but it's well worth the small amount of time for the fix to have these metal handles installed. If you have the plastic handles it's probably just amount of time before they start to crack. Replace them now and avoid the issue before it hits. By the way the metal handles are about a 1/3 of the cost of the plastic. Now you go figure!

Looks Great. Better than stock handles.
So much better than the original handles! I put these on my 1960a and they needed some extra space, so I cut out the hole a little taller and it looks great. Hopefully touring music comes back next year and I can get it on the road.

Missed the mark…
The media could not be loaded. Wrong size. Had to cut my cad to make them fit. Didn’t ship with enough screws

Very sturdy. Good replacement for a Marshall 1960A cabinet and way more reliable than the plastic.. HOWEVER, as another customer mentioned, you need to cut out about 1/4" of the handle hole on your cab to get it to fit. The cab I installed it in was in rough shape to begin with so I didn't mind butchering it with a jigsaw, but be wary if you have a collectors piece which you don't want to "modify"

Strong but bigger than plastic Marshall holder
Hey is what you need to know before ordering. These are bigger that the stock plastic Marshall holders, you will need to cut the cabinet slightly. 1/8-1/4 inch. You'll also need some additional hardware. I suggest replace everything with some nice SS screws and you'll need 2 longer bolts with some fender/bigger washers and some nuts. Recommend nylocks for vibration. Apply a thin line of clear silicone on the back side before assembly and you are good to go.

Good quality, may not fit older cabinets as is.
Great quality! Made of metal it’s a great replacement for the plastic grips from the factory. My 1960A required me to trim 1/4” of wood off the bottom of the hole to make it fit. A coping saw works well in the tight space. Drill a few holes add screws and you’re done.

Heavy duty, but not the right size.
These handles are great, heavy duty. But I didn't realize how much they differed in size to the originals. I had to cut into my freshly custom tolexed cab to fit them in, and then, 4 of the holes for the screws were right where the original handle cut out was, so there's nothing to screw those screws into...
