Mark Feldstein, The Original Singing Bird Clock, 10.7 Inch, Green

We had this very same clock for over 15 years and when it died recently, we bought it again because we love it so much. And for a battery operated clock to last for over 15 years, that’s impressive.

Great wall clock for anyone who loves to listen to bird calls. It's fun to try and identify the bird by its song. The 13" clock is medium sized and loud enough to hear in another room. Nice, clear bird songs, not garbled or muted. The birds chirp on the hour, not the number of hours on the clock, but two or three chirps from a different bird at each hour. The clock has a light sensor that silences the bird calls at night. Birds can be identified by their pictures on the clock face. Green, plastic rim, good quality. Easy to mount on the wall. It's pretty loud, so keep that in mind if you live with someone who might be startled by sudden noises (like sleeping babies, etc.). I purchased this clock because my mom always had one in her living room, so it's a nostalgic purchase for me. So far, so good, and it's working great!

The only thing I don’t like it I wish it was louder, but it’s a great clock and very beautiful. The sounds are just like the real birds and the back of the clock box has a lot of information about all the different birds that are assigned to each hour.

My house would not be home without this clock. The sounds are nice, the birds songs appropriate for my New England home. Unfortunately, this clock is poorly made. The packaging is difficult with two screw/washers attaching the packaging to the clock. One has to be very patient and careful removing the screws... the plastic breaks very easily. The controls on the back are very cheap easily snapping the little dial that sets the hands. It is light, the look of this clock hanging is far better than the bones or workings of this clock. But, I like the quality of the songs, so this is my 4th clock. Looks great in my livingroom.

We used to have a bird clock in our cottage up north, and every year when we open the cottage it was hard to get it started again. So we ordered this one and it’s perfect. It works great, the little bird chirps every hour. It’s nice to guess what bird is making the noise. It has a sensor on the face so that it doesn’t chirp late at night when it gets dark. The only thing is, it’s a little small. You have to come right up to it to look at it.

Die hier zu bewertende singende Vogeluhr besitzen wir seit Samstag, 10. Juni 2023, also nahezu ein Jahr. Immer noch sind wir überzeugt von ihr. Deshalb bekommt sie auch heute wieder fünf Sterne, wie auch schon bei meiner seinerzeitigen Bewertung, die hier angefügt ist. „Inzwischen haben wir fünf Vogelstimmen- und zwei gleiche Tierstimmenuhren „Bauernhof“, insgesamt also sieben. Die erste solcher Uhren haben wir Ende Dezember 2011 / Anfang Januar 2012 bekommen, es ist eine Singvogelstimmenuhr mit Funksteuerung (sie singt schon länger als elf Jahre). Zwischendurch mussten wir manche Uhr erneuern - die billigsten sind nicht immer die besten! Die „Mark Feldstein original singende Vogeluhr“, die es heute zu bewerten gilt, ist etwas Anderes, schon etwas Besonderes: Ich gebe ihr fünf Sterne!“
