Good product for the price
It's a great product for the price. I bought three numbers and one of them(#4) was a newer version that came in a totally different packaging than other two. It was also hard to find number 4, I had to wait for a week or two for it to be in stock. I bought these to install on my new wooden fence. The anchors that come with these house numbers are designed for a wall and it turned out to be too long for my 1" thick fence board. Not a big deal, I bought some screws from Lowes to install them. If you need to buy screws for some reason then the best screw size for these numbers are M5/.80 but 10-32 could also work.

Great quality! Could use a template
These are pretty darn good quality. The method of marking/mounting could benefit from a template, though. Hard to achieve perfection when your are marking drill holes an inch and a half above the surface. Hindsite, I could have created my own templates by rubbing the backs of the numbers with a dirty hand on clean white paper. All in all, very pleased

Looks Professional
Caveat: I just installed the numbers on a almost new black mailbox so I cannot vouch for long term durability. But the product was better than expected! The numbers look professional or factory-produced. I did prep the surface with a thorough cleaning. I was confused out of the box because the numbers were under a translucent film. But I quickly figured out the numbers have TWO "backings." You take the first one off to locate and place the numbers on the surface and rub them down. You take the second "backing" off the surface that leaves just the numbers in place. I was concerned the front film might pull at the numbers but that did not happen. I highly recommend this solution.

Painting + good advice = 5 stars and beyond
I purchased three numbers (2, 8, and 1) to place on our new front door and was not disappointed in the style and quality of these once they arrived. They were just beautiful, but the satin nickle did not provide enough contrast against the paint we used for the door. After contacting the nice folks at Architectural Mailboxes, I learned that these could be probably be painted if I sanded them and followed some good advice on painting these numbers made of brass and with a satin nickle finish. I've had a lot of great luck with Rust-oleum products so I used their primer after I had lightly sanded the numbers, and then used their white gloss spray for three coats on the numbers. The white gloss gave the contrast we were looking for. These are now truly gorgeous! I am so thankful for the help given by Architectural Mailboxes, and their high quality products made it easy to get what I needed while preserving the style and sturdiness of the numbers.

Nice Floating Numbers
After looking for a while then giving up and looking again I took a chance on these. I have actually had them installed for a while now and I am glad to report that these are still super nice. I love the floating effect that these give if you install them like the directions and supplied screws direct you too. You don't have to but you can. I happen to like the float look. It looks different than all my other neighbors and it looks neat. Just take your time installing them. They do come with template but I end up not using it. I used some of my wife's old nail polish to mark where the screw hole would go after marking the straight lines. This worked well for me. Do it however it easiest for you. but I am sure you will like it if you like this style.I will be copying this review to all the numbers that I got to my house(so if you see it again don't be surprised). This is an actual user.

Nice number - good quality
This is a nice house number. It is a great modern font and matches the other satin nickel and brushed nickel items on my front porch. We bought three numbers and they are all mounted with two "nails". These are not normal mounts. It is essentially a pointed nail with threads on one end. The threads screw into the back of the number, giving you two pointed spikes to put into the wall. The instructions mention a 3/16 drill bit - which is just right. You use the sharp spikes to mark where you want these on the wall, drill your holes, and use a rubber mallet to hammer the numbers into place. I left mine about 1/4 inch away from the side of the house to give a nice floating look - which also puts a nice shadow line behind it giving more visibility to the number. These are very nice. Only wish they made a larger size - maybe 6 or 8 inches.

Epoxy epiphany
Was a little perplexed about how to attach to the side of the mailbox. The mounting screws don’t really work. And then had this epiphany —-epoxy glue.

They look good and were easy to install!
I've purchased three sets of these for our house and mailbox. They work well. The price is bit absurd for some of the numbers, however this was the set we started with.

Nice modern number.
5 stars because it is what it is. They are attractive and there is really nothing to complain about. The only caution I would offer is that if you are mounting against a white backdrop, you might consider a black number. These are hard to see against the white.

Nice finish
Nice finish. I'm using them on a pole that is closer to the street. It's an 8x8 post, so this is the perfect size. I'll also put a solar light on top of them.
