Great little hacksaw

Cheap but does the job for one off jobs.
Needed a cheap mitre block to do a quick trunking job and this checked all the boxes. I didnt expect a lifelong product considering the make but it did exactly what I needed it to do.

First cut, cuts into aluminium box! Now unusable as the mitre slot is wider than before so now offset.Should have bought recognised make.

NIffy piece of kit
A niffy piece if kit for small jobs my husband like this because had a small mitre to do small jobs and he was delighted to get this from me

Quite flimsy
Cheap, and it shows the the saws back was about the shape of a dogs back leg, I noticed this as I turned the blade around from its safe travel position teeth facing in, and I thought it would get straighter as the blade was tensioned, which it did but nowhere near straight, used the saw it cut through aluminium and wood no problem but don't rely on the back of the saw as it points in a different direction to the blade, all that said it did the job better than a cheapy from asda

Mitre box hopeless.
Mitre box rubbish. I can cut more accurately without the box. Thrown in bin after 2 uses. Hacksaw very good.

Perfect little tool
Sometimes you get a tool and immediately it works perfectly. I use zinc channel to fabricate leaded glass windows and this small miter box couldn't be any more perfect for my needs. Cutting to my mark is easy and much more accurate than hanging the channel over the edge of my table. There's a couple holes in it allowing you to screw it down and a lip to secure it over your work table.The supplied hack saw is pointless, a decent one works much better.
