Very very surprised by quality of these. I knew I was getting a bulk of random stones but honestly I was expecting them to be like pebble or slightly larger size, but these are quite large and when u 1st open the bag it looks like a bunch of dusty, dirty plain rocks u could find outside on the ground anywhere, but Nope once u rinse them off and rub them with a wash cloth you see how amazingly beautiful they ALL are. They are all different kinds of real stones dug straight out of the earth. I got lapis, emerald, amethyst and so many more. They have been untouched or shaped by man. I love how authentic they truly are. They are in no way fake or replicated at all. I have to say I have never been more surprised with the value I got for my money. I highly recommend that someone who knows about loving & using magical stones or just looking to add to a collection that you invest in these stones you will not be disapointed in any way. I was very pleased with the selection that arrived in this shipment. I'm especially curious about the rock in the attached photograph. Does anyone have any idea what type of rock this is and what its origin might be?

To me the India mix is almost the same as ordering the Asia mix. I've ordered both and there's very little variation between the two. As with the Asia mix, the India mix has too much red jasper filler rocks. The lapis is very nice, and I ended up with one of my favorite little rocks; a piece of dendritic jasper (the light yellow rock in the middle) from this mix.

I'm in absolute awe of my batch of stones and crystals! I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the package and instantly seeing the gorgeous variety of color. I'm working on ensuring the identification of some of them but it's been so fun. I've been collecting stones and crystals all my life, something I'm very passionate about and I'm hoping to purchase a larger batch some time soon. Take a look at these! Each of them are a great size for doing different things with them-tumbling or shaping, or just to have to sit pretty.

Heavily FRACTURED crushed stones. Grossly irregular shapes, many with deep voids. Bags contained some dirt and chips. But the weights of the bags were right on. Were the chips and dirt used to attain the proper weights? Some were pure junk and disintegrated in the tumblers. I got two pieces of common granite that I can get free in my back yard. Through the tumbling process, the excessive number of fractures were highlighted. Those stones had to be removed and manually cut with a diamond saw to remove the gross fractures. I am really displeased that I paid $39 for these stones. If other folks get the kind of stones I got, you can forget just using a tumbler to make them pretty.

LOVED finding out what each stone was on my own. Some people might want a guide which this seller does offer in a different package. I had fun washing them and seeing all the crystals come to life! I would and DID buy again!

Packaged decent and good assortment of stones.Weight was just over 2 lbs with packaging.
