Installation wasn't quick and easy. You really need to be strong enough to screw the bottom pole section down to where there are only a few inches above ground. I'm pretty fit and I was worn out when through, and I'm sure the 90-degree high humidity heat contributed to that.The almost deal buster was the diameter of 1.25 inches. Many of my accessories fit only one inch and below. I got one of the feeders on, because the base hole was well over 1.5 inches. However, I couldn't get flanges large enough to fit the diameter and the feeder base so while they fit the diameter, I can't anchor them down so they swivel around.If all your accessories are 1.25 inches you'll be fine.

Easy to assemble. Screws to mount feeder could be of better quality, they strip easy. When installing the pole first pole make sure to screw it into the ground straight up with no lean, if you add the second pole and then try and leverage it straight you will bend the pole at the junction. So spend the time and get it straight.So far it has the squirrels stumped!!!

This is the 2nd mounting pole system we've installed on our property. This installation process was surprisingly easy! The built in auger made installing the pole quick and easy. It did not require digging a deep hole and adding concrete to support it as our other one did. The design of the critter stopper is the same as on our other pole system and has proven to be the best deterrent for all our local critters.

I put a nice restored bird feeder on it, I used a magnetic torpedo level to keep it perfectly upright, the screw at the bottom cuts easily provided you don’t hit a rock, all of the joints are shrouded so no water will ever get in them, I scraped a little paraffin on them and they went together like they were greased, the baffle is free floating, nothing I know of can get passed it👍👍👍

Great system. Easily screwed into hard ground. No problem to move as desired, just unscrew and screw base back into new location. The baffle definitely stops squirrels from reaching the feeder. Unfortunately, our resident squirrels are able to "fly" from nearby tree and land on the feeder!! That is why it has been moved a couple times!

We have a feeder unit attached to the first one we bought and after three winters, not one squirrel got up it. The gray squirrels look up and don't try to go up. The little red squirrels climb up but end up inside the spring unit. So I bought just the pole to use for a bird house and it is working perfectly. It takes some elbow grease to get it deep enough but once in, it is quite sturdy. Definitely worth the money.

I ordered two of these mounting systems based on design and purchaser comments. Both units arrived damaged in the box. The plastic ring around the baffle opening at the top was shattered on both units. This was annoying but the part seemed non-essential and did not prevent the units from being put in the ground. I decided to proceed with installing them. The first unit was successfully screwed into the ground and supports a bird house, and seems to be sturdy enough. I began installing the second unit by screwing it into the ground using the materials provided in the box but the auger part snapped off about 1.5 feet into the ground and has rendered the entire thing useless. The packaging had been trashed and I don't want the hassle of trying to dig it up and send it back so I decided to write this review instead in case it saves someone else from getting ripped off from a poor quality product.

This is truly a high-quality product. Very sturdy. Everything assembled very easily. Even though we have hard clay soil, I was able to drill the base all the way down. The squirrels have not been able to get past the baffle.It's a bit tall, so we had to mount it in a lower part of the yard so we could see the smaller birds that were in the feeder we attached to this.Good product!
