Heavy enough, set it down and it stays. I didn't use adhesive but you could if you want to secure it. Marked its location with a pencil line on the floor and it hasn't moved in the month since I purchased it. Currently have two vehicles in the garage and if I eliminate one I'll be able to move it easily. Recommend this item Update, purchased a single pack in September 2022 been using it to stop my Lexus 350. It works great. I pull up against it gently, but I have bumped it firmly a fe times and it never moves, only seems to move if I kick it when the car is not in the garage, but I have a line on the floor and just set it back in place. Would still recommend 15 months after buying it. Some people complain about the sticker coming off which is kind of weird because you really don’t need it and secondly, you could always put a little touch of glue on it and put it back on, simple solution to a non-issue.

Keeps us from hitting back wall of our garage. Our 2007 GMC Sierra extended pick up barely fits in out new garage. With my wife's help we got it in perfectly and put the parking guides directly in front of the front tires tightly. Marked on the floor with a pencil. Then move the truck back and cleaned the smooth new pavement with a broom we attached heavy duty two sided tape to the bottom of the stops Put them back on the penciled in area and stood on them. We did not use them with the truck for 72hrs as the tape instructions noted. Woks great you can easily feel the make contact with the tires

These are the perfect solution for parking in the garage. We’ve tried several different methods to help us know when to stop in the garage, as we need to pull as far forward as possible without hitting the wall. These stops are big enough that you definitely feel them when pulling in so you know when to stop. The best thing is they are heavy enough that you don’t need to bolt them to the floor, they will stay in place by just setting them on the ground even with the car running into them. The benefit of not having to bolt them to the ground is that you can push them out of the way when the car isn’t in the garage so you don’t trip on them if you need to do work in the garage. I took a sharpie to outline them so I know where to put them back after they’ve been moved.

So far these are working well so I can get close to a storage closet in my garage, within an inch, without hitting it and pull my car up as far as I can. Smell was overwhelming when I first opened box which I stupidly did inside my house. I then put them Immediately outside for a few days, not in garage so the smell would dissipate. I also noticed my hands smelled after I picked them up. Still a slight smell in garage but is disappearing. I have a detached 1 1/2 stall garage. Very sturdy but bottom of one is not square/flat so it wobbles a bit. I moved it a few times to ensure it was not uneven surface. Other one sits flat. Even with the unevenness they both work well. Because they are substantial, stops car well without worry of moving them or going over them. Time will tell if they move at all or need to be adjusted or secured to floor.

I was a little dubious that these wouldn't slide all over the place, but they surprisingly stay in place without any adhesive or fasteners. They are great for parking "just right" every time in our overcrowded garage. I've purchased other similar products that had a terrible "tire factory" smell, but these had very little odor right out of the box. I haven't noticed any odor at all in the garage. I would highly recommend these.

These nice and heavy parking blocks are the perfect addition to make sure your car does not go too far when parking your vehicle. These can be mounted permanently, but not necessary to work successfully. I recommend this product.

These come with bolts for bolting to the floor. But I found you don’t need them. They stay put if you drive up against them. Once placed where I wanted them to hit the tires, I drew an outline around them so if I needed to move them for walking around in the driveway I could put them back where they were originally.

Very good. The elderly lady likes the stoppers in her garage. She likes how visible they are with the reflecter build in.

Easy to fit and very sturdy.

My wife was always having trouble when she backed her SUV into our garage. She never could quite find the perfect spot. Adding the bumpers removed any guesswork and now provides her with the confidence that she has the vehicle parked in exactly the right spot. I would highly recommend bolting them down using 3/8" diameter x 4" long concrete anchors.

They arrived a bit worn, they aren't packed super well in their box and I don't think the production standards are all that high. But they are decent quality, heavy enough my Ram 1500 doesn't move it around. So far I haven't had the need to bolt it to the floor. They do a great job of stopping my vehicles just on the right place. They feel durable, and like they will last a long time with a fair amount of abuse. I took 1 star off because due to the packaging the condition they arrived in was more akin to lightly used rather than brand new.

We have a midsize suv and a tight fitting garage. This product does exactly what I was hoping it would do. I suggest buying 2 for each vehicle but you might even get away with using just 1. Was a little worried I wouldn’t feel them enough when backing in, but they do give a clear precise and quick warning so that you stop exactly where you need to stop. I don’t have them taped or screwed to the garage floor and they haven’t moved yet. Park slowly and they’ll do what they were designed to do. I like that I didn’t need to tape or screw them to garage floor as they seem fairly heavy duty. Looks like there are similar competing products out there, but these ones in particular work like a charm for my needs. I recommend.
