I bought one for each of my dogs because we were traveling to the East Coast by car in the middle of summer. I am sure that these jackets made it possible for our dogs to come with us outside when it would’ve normally been way too hot for them and I’m also sure that these jackets prevented heat stroke. It’s that significant. They worked great! The only problem I would say is that the medium sized jacket kept going sideways on my dog and so I am looking into how I can modify it. The extra small fit my 7 pound dog well.

Zeus is not wearing the vest in the photo, but on a recent camping trip to Croatan National Forest, he got very uncomfortable, I had the vest, submerged it in ice water from my cooler and he settled down. It is very easy to get on and off. He does not like the tail loop, however. He finally adjusted to it after some fussiness. The water evaporates leaving a damp but not hot vest that is not heavy. I recommend this for outings and also AC based issues for those having problems with that. He weighs 115 pounds, so he is not tiny but is smaller than most his breed. I bought the 2XL for him and it is perfect.

We go trail riding with horses and bring the Great Dane. I was worried when his other reflective and wet shirts seemed to dry too fast and leave him warmer than if he wasn’t wearing the vest. This vest is cool even after the water evaporates. My Dane seemed to folic easily in the creeks and around the horses in the vest and enjoyed himself. I’m debating on buying a second one just in case. Wish there were more colors like vibrant orange for when we ride in fall with hunting happening.

The product arrived and was exactly as described. There is a neat reinforced slot in the back perfect for going over a harness and hooking a leash that is not described, but is a great feature. But my corgi took exception to the coat. I put it on him for our afternoon walk here in the desert, a nice 102 degrees. The coat has an ingenious little loop to put over the tail to hold the it in line on the body. However, every time my corgi wagged his tail, which is a constant, he would whip around to see who was holding his tail! So the loop had to go. We started our walk uneventfully, but about a half block away from the house he came to a complete halt. Nothing could move him. As he wears sweaters in the winter, I couldn't understand his objection. But off came the coat and he took off running like, well like a corgi chasing rabbits! For the 5 minutes he wore it, I'll return it, but if you have a less fashion conscious dog, it is a good product!

This keeps my dog cooler when we go outside for short walks / playtimes at the park. It keeps her cooler and prevents her black fur from getting too hot too quickly (we still keep our outdoor time shorter during summer months). The length is good for her, but the chest is WAY too wide! I will have to make some adjustments to keep it from falling off her, but overall I still recommend it to help keep pups cool!

The should change the yellow color and then it would be nice cool to touch and nice fabric but again attracts bugs and I dont want my dog to get stung.

The temp was 105 F and this little vest helped our dog stand the heat so she could be outside with us.

It’s okay... this is my 25lb lean pug in a M. Probably Should have gone to up one size. But it fits him okay and keeps him cool.
