Perfect Desk Companion
This monitor clip is easy to install and holds sturdy (even with bulky documents). I use it primarily to hold my speaking points or outline when I give presentations. I’m going to get another one so I have one on both sides of my monitor.

Works well - keeps clutter off the desk
My ergonomics folks at work said I needed a document holder for typing, etc. I didn't want the clutter on the desk top so this looked great. I cleaned the monitor with an alcohol pad (don't use cleanser). The product comes with a couple of strips of 3M tape (called Command brand) sticky on both sides and a little padded to maybe get over some slightly irregular surfaces. I put this on a LG monitor which is 1/2" thick, but mounted not on the side but on the back (see pics). This allowed for bringing out perpendicular to the monitor and allows for folding back flat against the back of the monitor. I suppose it could mount to any smooth surface, like a kitchen cabinet to hold recipes. The unit is plastic, black with a silver clip. The part that mounts to the monitor is 1" x 3". The clip/arm sticks out ~7.5" from the side of the monitor and is 1.5" wide (and 2.5" wide with the clip + arm. The clip seems to have a surface or nubbins to prevent paper from slipping out , couldn't feel exactly what (once mounted) but two feel plastic and one rubbery in the center of the clip. The seller/manufacture says it will hold 30 pages, but I tested the clip to 40 pages of standard photocopier paper. Pic attached, the spring mechanic is strong and made of metal. Overall pleased with this product. WOW, STRONG CLIP
Attached in seconds, but heed the directions and wait a full hour before actually using it once you attach it. Otherwise you will tick off your coworkers when the arm falls off, knocks over your coffee cup and your keyboard goes flying when you jump back and pull the cord with you - resulting in a sound only akin to a car crash. Would be nice if the mouting bracket was seperate from the arm to allow you to move it around (multiple mounting brackets). Removing it though, and attaching it somewhere else is a breaze. An you can do that as many times as you want since it uses the standard Command Tape (double sided tape with pull tabs for removing).

Awesome product! A must for any workspace...
I love these so much that I ordered several more in order to cascade some different documents at my monitor's side. These go on really well and stay in place. You can use them on either side of the monitor but I chose to put them on the left side (I have a bear note holder on the right side, see review). I have two right now on my monitor and have affixed my third one on a nearby standing lamp. Because the lamp stand is round I added a small piece of duct tape to the top and bottom of where it fixes on to be sure it stays in place. I love it and have a large chart clipped to it with all of my book projects and progress on it. These holders are almost addicting to buy (on the add-on program), and I can think of lots of other places I could use these at. I am a Children's Author with lots of projects always in the works and these are very, very useful!

multi uses fir this
it’s very sturdy the command strip is strong. I don’t think I’ll ever get it off. It’s hanging a watchtower magazine. It could be used for various things throughout the house. The weight and thickness of it is perfect.

Somewhat cheaply made and annoying on my laptop computer.
Feels flimsy and fragile. It does stick just fine on my laptop computer but my main complaint is that it swivels too easily. Just attaching a sheet of paper and you have to keep pulling the gadget forward because it pivots away from you. Worse yet when I often have my laptop screen slightly angled beyond a straight vertical screen (meaning that it is leaning back slightly) then the document holder swivels backwards which is incredibly annoying.

Perfect recipe holder, right where I needed it.
I needed something to hold my recipes up and out of the way while I'm cooking. After spending a little time designing a swing away copy holder out of wood, that would fit on the end of my cabinet, I started looking for clips to go on it and stumbled across this one. For under $10, this was a no brainer. I decided to give it a shot and so far, I'm tickled with the results! It holds my printed recipes, in page protectors, perfectly and folds back out of the way when I'm finished. Can't say I like that it's black and silver on the side of the cabinet, but I knew what it would be when bought it. It could be worse, like... neon pink or something. I'll admit, the wood one I was going to make would have blended into the side of the cabinet and would have been much less noticable, but... On a rare occasion, it's nice just taking the easy way out. As many have stated, it's pretty lightweight so you will want to remember not to use your super strength and start yanking it around or manhandling it. But it does the job I hired it to do, and I'm quite satisfied with that.

Fantastic design - has spring-loaded clip!
Overall, this is a really well designed monitor clip. It gets the job done very well at a very reasonable price. I like the small footprint, and fact that it is monitor-mounted rather than sitting on a desk. Not only does this elevate the page to eye-level, but it also keeps stuff off my desk. I was surprised to see that the clip on this device is spring loaded. Previous such devices I have used had ball catches and various other strange techniques for holding. While the spring nature requires two hands to insert the pages (compared to one-handed insertion) it does a much better job of repeatedly holding any type of material. I was happy to see there are two 3M command strips included, so you can easily move this to a different location.

Kann einfach am Monitor angebracht werden. Ebenso kann es weggeklappt werden, sollte es nicht gebraucht werden.

I've been looking for a gizmo like this for ages. Other document holders are either bulky - free standing, which I don't have room for, or flimsy and give way with just a couple of sheets of paper. However, this one does the trick perfectly: attaches to the monitor -tick- holds several sheets -tick- folds away out of sight - tick-.

Placed this onto the back of my computer as I have an all in one and it is slightly curved in the back, I was able to attach this and it holds my papers great, placed 16 page document and it held it well Great buy definitely would recommend it

I found this unit very good, I noted some people said it fell off the PC? But I wonder if they fitted it as per the instructions? ie, use cleaning fluid on the PC, let that dry, then apply the sticky patches. I did this, but.. I then left it for 24 hours before using it. I have had NO problems & it has even help a magazine! I think it is an excellent product..
