Great book, non-technical yet informative, with lots of full color photos.
It's almost like reading an illustrated novel disguised as a history book/encylopedia. Good to have around the family rug shop. Afghan rugs are a specific type of rug distinct from Turkish and Persian rugs. Each rug can tell a story and represent the village/area it was handmade in.
