Awesome book. Tons of information. I love this book and I literally hate reading but I’ve read this one 5 or 6 times already and I’ve learned so much.

Very interesting book but only georgia is fun to look at

Initially looking for a book that was more instructional/procedural structured book. It is more of a vacation guide for events and attractions for those interested in buying buckets of dirt to pan and or Sluice.

I live in Alabama and I bought it specifically for locations of places to dig, pan and mine. This book has TWO site listings for the entire state! About half of the book isn't even about the Southeast US. Many of the pages are just state museum listings. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate museums but the book is called "Southeast Treasure Hunter's Gem and Mineral Guide - Where and How to Dig, Pan and Mine for your Own Gems and Minerals" and I thought it would deliver on those topics.
